I'm pretty sure an unedited gameplay trailer would help sales of this game, considering none of the screenshots or any of the three videos give any hint whatsoever about how the game actually plays.

From the game card:
* "tactical turn-based battle system"
* "fast-paced Reactive Time Battle System"

Make up your mind!

Sounds like something like ATB borrowed from JRPGs. So a mix of turns and a few real-time elements.
Is the deluxe edition also at a 10% discount? I saw that it was initially marked as such, but now it seems to be full price. Looks great either way. Only asking because I would prefer to have this on GOG than on any other platform.
this game is gorgeous and i loved their last game (halcyon 6) but i so wish this wasn't a roguelite. i'm honestly a bit disappointed.

This game looks like serious fun, no lie. might pick it up...

BTW did anyone else notice the trailer song? This ALMOST sounds like one of Akira Wings songs! almost like Justice prime.
if he had any doing in this I would be Extremely happy!

From the gameplay I've seen, this absolutely should be categorized as jRPG. Aesthetically, it even looks similar to Octopath Traveler.

EDIT: After more investigation, this is clearly not a JRPG, and it's definitely not using ATB.

Wow it's so beautiful! I wonder if it can be played easily with mouse/keyboard though.

I don't dislike them either, but I can rarely play them for longer than a dozen runs or so before I get bored. I need a story to keep myself entertained. :P

There are rare exceptions, like Stardew Valley...mostly because I listen to music while I play. :D

For now Star Renegades is on my wishlist, I'll probably buy it at some point (in the distant future)...it just looks so gorgeous. :P
