One man alone cannot fight the future.

Singularity™, an intense time-bending FPS where past, present, and future are locked in a violent fluctuation, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com.

How was U.S. marine Nathaniel Renko supposed to know that saving a Russian scientist from a fire in 1955 would have such catastrophic results in the present? Now a tyrant has taken over the world, leaving Renko and his techno-magical glove to sort out this mess and salvage the best possible version of the future.
Armed with the appropriately named Time Manipulation Device (TMD) and plenty of conventional firepower, Renko must face an army of elite soldiers and horribly warped abominations that shouldn't exist in any era. The TMD can rapidly age his enemies, send energy surges through them, or even manipulate inanimate objects to his advantage, as he jumps between 1950s Russia and its modern day counterpart, looking for the means to save the world from the singularity.

Manipulate time and your enemies' life force as you desperately try to cancel the Singularity™, DRM-free on GOG.com.

For the Germans out there, it looks like the game isn't entirely banned but had to have toned down gore effects (unless this page is out of date):

Quite frankly, if you folks spend half the energy you do blaming GOG on instead going after your backwards, nanny state of a government, you could kill off this problem at its source.

Impaler26: Are you sure about that? On the game's german Steam store page is no mention of a censored version and it shows 5 languages available. So i'd guess the version on Steam is uncensored:

Not so fast:
For example the first version of GTA Vice City was multilingual, too, although the German version was definitely cut.
1. Looks like Activision test the water. The only Activision game published here, which is not older than 2010.
Judging by the mood in the forum, we do not see more recent Activision's games here in the near future.
3. Price is high, but it is Activision. This is expected. Expect of them for lower prices is naive. (And... For me, the price is the same as in Steam. Fair enough. Regional prices, apparently.)
4. Speaking of regional prices. I'm sure, regional prices and region lock - this is the condition of Activision, not GOG's desire. It makes no sense to blame GOG.

Blocked for German users, comes with German manual and language.

My cat said "purr", whatever that means. Might be a cat abreviation for "purrification", though I don't see how that might be related to singularities. Other posts in this thread seem to indicate that the problem is restricted to the point of intersection between the Germany graph and the GOG graph. I don't think that I can do anything from over here, but GOG might be able to. Better they try to contain the problem in some way before it spreads, or the universe might indeed collapse.

igrok: Maybe they'll bring their real games, like Heretic and Shadow Caster.
Don't forget about Hexen and it's sequel!
Ahhh, jeez gog, just release Mirror's Edge already! At least that one won't be region locked (hopefully) and it would be an EA release - unlike Activision, at least EA have the decency to launch their insanely overpriced backlog titles with a nice discount.
I was sure it was.. kind of bad?

Nah, it's a bit of a meh game in a bleh market.

Martian12: Low sales in just one game does not send the message that DRM-free does not sell. If Singularity sells bad, it means that's something wrong with the release. Or the game but the game in that instance has a fanbase, not big fanbase but still and it is generally considered a good game. So yeah, if the sales are bad, I think it will send some kind of message.

IAmSinistar: Agreed. And considering the top selling title on GOG at the moment is a $59.99 game, I'd say DRM-free sells just fine. :)
It's amok. He never misses a chance to remind us how "gOg" is useless and all the other stores are better bla bla bla.
Oh, and how "DRM-free" is some kind of extra feature that might justify an incresed price from the norm. Sigh.
Then I wonder why I'm almost not posting here any more: the forum base seems actively fighting agints the same store that hosts them! I mean, if you don't like the place, go do something better! There MUST be a more useful and/or funnier way to spend your time...
Singularity is a very good FPS game. It has elements of sci-fi and solid shooting mechanics.
I definitely recommend it.

I completed the game years ago for my YT channel and while the videos were terrible, this game is not.

Good job GOG/Activision :/

Mmm, an interesting release. It is pretty pricey, but this is to be expected nowadays. Will have to decide if I want it now or later in a sale.
Very thankful Activision is bringing more games to GOG, not thankful at the price tag. Ah well, I'll have to get this sooner or later. Thanks for fulfilling another wish of mine.

If you are fine with it, that's good for you. I just wish gOg was comparable and competitive to other stores.

That was actually a direct quote from some of the other forum users here, who actually think this is the case. I think it is a rather silly standpoint, to be honest. But then again, this seems to be the case here, so if you are happy with this situation, then more power to you.

Nah, not really, a bit bored now.
