One man alone cannot fight the future.

<span class="bold">Singularity&trade;</span>, an intense time-bending FPS where past, present, and future are locked in a violent fluctuation, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com.

How was U.S. marine Nathaniel Renko supposed to know that saving a Russian scientist from a fire in 1955 would have such catastrophic results in the present? It seems like people are constantly trying to find new excuses to blame gog. Quit nagging already. I agree that the price is very high. I agree, it is logical that someone should feel frustrated.

But I want to make two points:

A) Activision. Just see the base price of Gun and Bloodlines, both recently released, both relatively old games.

B) I have a question for all the people who complain. Did you really intent to instabuy Singularity or you just bitching? I mean, if the base price was 20 Euro (as in steam) and not 27, would you buy it or would you wait for a sale anyway?

For f**ck's sake, gibbeynator characterizes the game as "generic trash" and complains for the base price. Why the hell do you care for something that you think is trash?

All in all, I do understand the complaints. They are of course legitimate but after all if you really want to show your disapproval quit bitching and just don't buy the game here. Low sales send the message not bitching in the forum.

Nergal01: Hm, I got the uncensored PS3 version of this for 5 bucks just a week ago. Looks like I made the right decision.

What's the price in Euro for this, btw?

EDIT:

I just checked and Singularity is available in the german Steam store, even at a much lower price than here.

WTF? So why is the GOG version region locked? Way to go GOG... Stay classy!
german version => censored, USK18
european version => uncensored, indexed, not available in Germany

Its actually very german behaviour. Forbid first, ask later :D

Also: GOG! Its past 15:00 and still no new game? Cannot get new game releases on a thursday anymore?

Yes! I almost bought it too. Then I saw the price, removed from cart and off it went to the wishlist (which doesn't seem to list it...)

gibbeynator: Hahahaha, good one. Now, what's the REAL price? Wait... that IS the real price? For this generic FPS trash? This isn't even "wait for a sale", this is "get it somewhere else for substantially less money". Shame on whoever pushed for this pricing.
This is far from trash, but still not worth the asking price.
