Exsurgent: Look, judging by the reviews, the game seems to be a worthy successor to the first one, well worth the money, and it's great that the game gets released here DRM-free on day 1 and it seems to be mostly feature-complete and I don't even care for achievements, personally...
But when a game gets released at a "AAA" price point, you'd think they'd also bother to implement achievements here.
barleyguy: I generally don't pay AAA prices for anything, so I will wait for a sale. I'm not saying it's not worth it... if any game is worth it this one probably is. But with hundreds of games in my backlog, I can just play something else until the price drops.
Also, I don't care about achievements, at all. Nor do I care about ANY comparisons to Steam. It doesn't exist to me, so what happens there is completely irrelevant to my existence.
So in short, I will definitely buy and play this, but I'm not in a hurry.
I agree with barleyguy by not being bothered by Steam or what´s goin on there, but this time I agree with the rest of the guys who are complaining about missing achievements - I don´t care about them at all, and I would understand with a release of an older game here, that devs don´t want to bother with them, but this is a new game and developers have no excuse not putting them there.
Myself I am still thinking whether to buy it for the full price or wait for a discount, but buy it here I will.
