Warlock and load.

Project Warlock is now available DRM-free, only on GOG.com.

Imagine if DOOM and Hexen got drunk one night and ended up skinny dipping. The pile of discarded clothes would perfectly fit Project Warlock, a retro-styled FPS with frantic combat featuring spells, guns, and ugly baddies waiting to be blown up in satisfying ways.

Project Warlock is an original, timed GOG exclusive launch title.

I've broken two chairs, seven dishes, knocked over four plants, and gave a bloody lip to my brother. :D

I play DOOM with this. I wanted to play through Resident Evil 4 with it too, but I could never get it working.

I think the temporary exclusivity is working out very well for GOG.*

*pulled out of my ass :P Naw but I can only assume based on the large number of reviews in a short time span compared to, in general, other new releases.

based on your feedback I am going to add 1440p, 16:10 and 4K resolutions to the game. Next patch is also going to improve the performance dramatically. Game balance changes, fixes and audio tweaks incoming! Stay tuned :)

Very nice to hear from you, i can't stress enough how good your game is right now, DOOM was my 1st pc game and this is striking the same notes.
I'm playing it on a low-end notebook and i'm not minding the ~30 fps , 800x??? res @low setting AT.ALL.

Of course, it is extremely inconvenient, and only recommended if you've finished the game dozens of times already and looking for a new challenge :P That thing is awesome for fighting games though.

I got this game after I came accross an interview of Buckshot on Kotaku's website. This lead me to the Kickstarter page and then on to their main website.

Intially I proceeded to get the game to support the developer but subsequently after playing it re-ignited a spark in me taking me back to the days of Doom, Wolfenstein and Hexen!

Thank you for this!

As I progress though the game the 'RPG' elements are akin to LandsofLore, Ultima Underworld and similar dungeon crawlers.

You should seriously look at positioning the game as a FPS Dungeon Crawler (don't think anything like this even exists?)

Again, thank you for the experience and thank you for developing this!

Now I remember my roots of where my PC Gaming passion started from!
