Take a walk on the wild side.

The Wildcards, a new DLC pack for Pathfinder: Kingmaker is now available, DRM-free. It is also part of the game's Season Pass.

There's a whiff of mischief in the air, mixed with demonic influences and the occult. Means the Tieflings have arrived. They bring a new -romanceable- companion with her own storyline and the Kineticist class, perfect for the individual talented in harnessing deadly primal energy.

Frosty1979: Well loading a game and then going back to menu activates the portraits of Tieflings. Nothing else. Sine it's a weekend I hope it doesnt take until friday to fix it.^^

Also wonder if people for whom it works had a season pass? I bought it as standalone dlc purchase.
I have the season pass and it don't work for me. I can get to the portraits and the tiefling model after loading and exitng, but there is no tiefling race option.

Walwyn71: That's interesting I have the same issue except that I am able to view the picture in character creation just by loading up any game or starting a new game and then going back to the main menu.

oleg97: Can you choose the new race or just the new portrait during character creation?
Something like that was mentioned by chandra at the start of the topic. Sounds like woodoo to me though. It seems the flag that triggers new portrait's availability is set during the gameplay - after you load a game or start a new one with DLC installed.
But the broken event is a different bug.
I can select from two portraits (male/female) and see the model of the portrait I select. But there is no tiefling race and I cannot procede in character generation without selecting another race.

I did try reloading a save game and waiting around for a month or so for the new companion to arrive, but she never triggered for unknown reasons.

On a new game I do see the new companion in the hall.
I did get the dlc to work for a little while but then it stopped working. They need to up their quality control. The dlc is too immature to have been released
No clear way to get the DLC to work just comes down to luck.
People on steam are not having these problems that people are having here, just checked. Also back when I got Pillars of Eternity 2, i had similar problems with the DLC and it was GOG.In time they fixed it. I know at this time its easy just to blame owlcat, because of earlier problems on release of this game. By loading a previous save game and then exiting it to main screen to start a new game, is only way I have been able to activate the DLC. You might want to give it a try.....may or may not work for you.
i have the new DLC and play it yesterday, but now i can't play me save game becuse i need the DLC. wtf?????

I'm guessing this won't be getting fixed any time soon?
Works perfectly for me.
Had to create two new games instead of one for it to register properly but am now 3 hours into the game with a Tiefling rogue, no problems at all.

Non-Galaxy version, by the way.

I have the latest version of GOG.galaxy and have gone through various steps to get the DLC to work...and had it only working for a brief period of time on Friday. Since then, I have not been able to load my saved game with a tiefling character nor can I make a new tiefling character or access the kinecist class.
I think it's really hit and miss who it works for and who it doesn't work for. I have the season pass and I can't get to any of the DLC stuff. It's kind of frustrating. On steam it seems to work perfectly, so I hesitate to blame this on Owlcat.
Okay so I found a workaround that worked for me. Win 10, version 1.1.3M. Both DLCs installed. Standalone version

Started up game, proceeded to select a quick build and just load the game to the throne room.

Exit straight to main menu, then repeat this once more.

On creating a character the 3rd time both portraits and the race shows up as it should.

Hope this helps other with these silly issues and let's them at least enjoy this for their sundays
