So it is a game representation of how the EU 'rule' our lands? Bonus achievements for jailing people for hate speech?
Very interesting concept and the price is ok as well. I think I will get it.
I'm tempted to either get Orwell or Mainlining. Has anyone around here played both? On the surface the most noticeable difference appears to be tone.

This might be the first time GOG will have to close a thread about a game release :P

Wasn't particularly interested when it went on sale on Steam a long time ago, not that interested now.
Maybe with 75% off.

Especially when you see the current mood of the people posting on the forum...

So maybe we can list all the non-game related content in one post and focus on the games strengths / weaknesses for the rest?

P.S.: I was tempted to add a smiley but this constant negativity is everything but funny

Reminds me more of this :P
Really activates my almonds regarding Drumphf; how will he ever recover?

Your Trump derangement syndrome is starting to get annoying. Trump probably is a vulgar, ignorant asshole and his administration might well do something really disastrous (like war with Iran. Or China), but mass surveillance pretty much has bipartisan support in the US. What exactly did Obama do to scale back the surveillance state (or stop spying on the leaders of America's vassa...err, "allies" like my own country)?
As for that game, sounds like a disturbing concept...is it meant as criticism of mass surveillance or actually justifying it???

The UK rules it's peons actually. The EU doesn't give shit how your goverment abuses the privacy rights of dumbass brits, they just do it of their own accord.

And then, instead of blaming Theresa and her ilk, the dumbest of the lot focus on the EU, effectively throwing sand in their own eyes. How do you breathe without assistence?
Too niche .

I dislike the EU in its current form, but the whole "throw people in jail concept for hate speech" is homegrown in the UK, thank New Labour for it (and before that the various race relations acts going back to the 1960s).
And the UK as part of that five eyes network does an awful lot of surveillance and spying on continental Europe for that matter.

You really want an honest answer on that ? (which is allowed in a democracy as the netherlands)

Okay here it is:

he wont be able to (fully) recover, yup Trumpieboy wont be to fix all.

why not:

easy: all left/liberas/democrats and some conservatives (thats a huge (to use trump words) )number of people are against him every day the MSM over the world will only pick on him, and will put all his mistakes under the microscope, the postive things he achieved sofar (comaperd to Bama)arent in the spotlight.
So its only bashing by MSM and you cant beat biased MSM.

But there is sunshine for all: Bama is back for more and boy he is ready for it (google for it) so Canada might get millions of new citizens, cause the ones that left because of trump will be followed by the ones that voted for trump if Bama gets into power again (maybe through michelle).

Whatever will happen Canada will be litterally great again, huge amounts of new citiziens, from USA and from all other hot countries aswell... yes Canada is the number one popular country, with the sad EU as a second for all the poor new citizens that arrive by the millions.
