JudasIscariot: 1.06 is the version number of the game.
So this is still the broken version of the game with the original campaign that can't be finished.
If you still have the 1.04 version, you should consider putting that up instead of the 1.06. If you don't have that 1 anymore you should pull the game from the store alltogether.
If I would have bought this game now, I would have used the 30 money back guarantee.

This is a really bad move by Calypso. I hope you use this knowledge in future agreements with them.

The Japanese Incentive DLC requires 1.06 and above.

Consider removing it from the store alltogether. You're selling a broken game with no real guarantee it will be fixed.
Kalypso saying it will doesn't seem like much of a guarantee when a game is broken for that long.

Making both 1.04 and 1.06 availabe would also solve the problem with the broken campaign.

Anyone played The Japanese Incentive and can tell me how long the new campaign is? I enjoyed the base game and so $5.99 seems to be a good price to me. But I want to be sure that it is in fact a real campaign and not only 1-3 short missions.

About Omerta as a whole: The game is much better than it's notorious bad reputation. It's true that it was buggy in the beginning and the sandbox mode was a mess, but after a few patches it was a very solid game that I really enjoyed a lot. It's a shame that they broke it again with another bad patch.
Since I already own the game and all the DLCs, if I emailed support, could they convert me to the Gold Edition?

Id like to know this as well...

It's a descent length campaign, a bit shorter than the original campaign. But that's partly due to the DLC for the original campaign.

I agree it's a good game. I rated it 4 stars, though I feel I should lower that to 1 due to the game breaking bug.
Problem isn't really the bad patch or even their lag of proper testing.
The problem is they only distributed the fix to Steam and therefore ignoring part of their customers.

Thank you! I will pick it up then.

I have all the DLC too, I thought I already owned the Gold edition.
I am not very pleased with either GOG or Kalipso over this. It use to be a Gold edition was that, everything all together.

Cool, nice to see that this overpriced game now bundles all the DLC with a base price drop. Indicative hopefully that the price will drop again over the next year sometime and hopefully then have a 75% or more off sale to bring the price of the whole thing down below the $5 sweet spot. Seems like almost all reviews for it are bad just about everywhere but it does look like it has some interesting elements to it. $3-5 will be the sweet spot to trigger my wallet eventually to find out, unless it shows up in a bundlestars or humble bundle sometime alongside other games I want of course. :oP

Perhaps a bundle with Jack Keane 2? :)

Barry_Woodward: I want the Gold Edition artwork on my shelf and the game, in all its incarnations, greyed out.
Makes sense as things sit right now, but they might have different plans in the future of providing additional functionality just to purchasers of the Gold edition that isn't there right now perhaps. That wouldn't be a popular move on a site like GOG.com mind you, but it could be something they'd consider perhaps. I'd probably want to have mine changed to the Gold one if I owned the whole set as well though, just to tidy up the bookshelf. Glad I am waiting for the Gold edition to sink below $5 though. :)

So.

When you buy a gold edition, you get the base game and the DLCs ticked as owned.

No.

Interestingly on the game page for the gold edition there is no mention of Mac version. I own the base + DLCs except for the Japanese expansion and I have a mac version

So by the sounds of things the expansion is not for Mac. I wonder if people buying the gold edition still get a mac version of the base game at least.

----
in theory I guess they should if it is supposed to just be a bundle. Odd they don't explain things on the gold edition page
