Hello darkness, my old friends.

Night in the Woods, an offbeat but strangely relatable story about reconsidering your life choices, is now available DRM-free on GOG.com.

When Mae returns to her hometown after three unfruitful semesters in college, everything seems changed: her friends have moved on, the city is in recession, and weird stuff is happening every night in the nearby woods. On top of all that, Mae is haunted by bizarre nightmares that totally mess up her attempts at a carefree daily routine.

Trailer looks super weird in a good way :)
Any reviews yet?
Better late than never.
But shall we consider it Tuesday release or Wednesday release?

A release thread for Night in the Woods? A little bit late, isn`t it?
Don't be shocked by the 8 GB RAM requirement given in GOG's game description. It's 4 GB on Steam, and I'd rather guess that's a little too much as well. :)
Looks interesting, but way too pricey for me ATM.
Its trailer and Dear Esther's are unlisted (youtube term) if that matters.

Unlisted?
high rated
Why do gog's release posts get more and more lackluster by the day? We went from "considerably better than the publisher's official blurb" to "can't be bothered, really" in a relatively short time. Now we're at a stage where the news posts are barely more than a subhead. By the end of the month, the release posts will probably just read "It's here! Buy it!"
I'll keep an eye on this one.

I was indeed shocked when I saw that.

And in case of Night in the Woods that should be all you'll need. ;)

It's finally here, awesome!!! Played some minutes yesterday night and can't say anything about the story yet, but the game looks beautiful with a lot of small details (like fallen leaves flying through the air when you walk or run through them). And the atmosphere is superb.
Looks like a game that doesn't really know what kind of game it wants to be. This can be good, or it can (more frequently) be horribly bad.

Also, kudos for the onscreen PS4 controls for your PC release. Way to go.
Front page:
"NOW AVAIALBLE".

Aha. :)

Yeah, I noticed that, too. :(

It can still show Xbox buttons, right?
