Lady Aribeth, you'll never walk alone.

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition is now available DRM-free, 25% off until October 18th 1pm UTC. Neverwinter Nights Diamond is now included in the Enhanced Edition as a free bonus goodie. Current owners of Diamond get an additional 25% off when purchasing the Enhanced Edition.

The D&N epic returns, now with subtle graphical improvements and a completely rebuilt multiplayer system, backwards compatible with all the mods, modules, and save games you were using in the original.

Get the Digital Deluxe Edition which includes several adventure modules, the game's Soundtrack and the Heroes of Neverwinter pack or grab each of them separately.

vsr: Why DLCs are not displayed on game's page in store?
Probably damage control on gog's part.

ng: Beamdog still uses the same appalling tactics of removing the original game from GOG (it matters little if the original is included as an extra, I'd have to buy the new game to get the old, besides GOG can now safely forget about keeping the original up-to-date). This approach will never get any approval (and money) from me.
ps. It's not a GOG's fault, I know, I know...

MazDen: and another classic version removed from store
It's not removed. It's bundled with the EE version.

You can still buy it, it'll just cost you more, and you'll get the EE version as a bonus.

Yay!

More Beamdog $&#@ery!

Someone needs to buy this IP off of them so they stop hiding all the classics and releasing half baked garbage "upgrades" of games that still work perfectly.

Nice that they put it on GOG, if you don't own it already, but a shame they have to meddle with our ability to buy the actual game if by some miracle we managed to miss it for all these years.

Oh, boy. One more of those EE...

Well, already have the original version, so i'll skip this.

What part of "If you don't like it and think it's a ripoff, then don't buy it" don't people understand.
Beamdog is not above criticism, but I don't get this over the top ,at times obssesevie hate for them.
And people have had how many years to buy the original at GOG?

I don't give a rat's ass about Neverwinter Nights (not meant to comment on the quality just personal preferences), but the politics of the company behind this really make me wanna unload a wagon of feces on them so they could feel right at home.
How you spend your money is your own business, but if anyone really hit the buy button here...well.

25% off guys!!! I mean how are the poor guys that have poured at least 2 minutes into this release to add "enhanced" to the splashscreen, going to live? I think we should have a whipround. Much like last whip-round but this time there will be two tiers of donation - both for exactly the same as before, just costing different levels.
I am so going to take this model, it's incredible, eats working for a living.

And,like every other thread involving Beamdog, this thread has become a train wreck.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.

Beamdog:

1.) Releases their games DRM-free (even the Steam version doesn't use CEG).
2.) Supports all three platforms that GOG supports.
3.) Does a reasonable job of keeping their games up to date on GOG.

Surely there are other companies more deserving of our hatred ...

Yes, but EA and M$ don't release games here anymore.
What you are after is hatred commensurate with their actual effort in the project (I.e. Almost none). Original did not have drm, original ran on windows and Linux (no idea about mac or in fact the smallest defaction to pass on for it). As for up to date, the games are decades old, what patching is needed other than fixing whatever bugs they added (might be only BG).

Oh, and I still have a bridge available if your interested, I have only sold it to two people so far so pm me if interested.

Oh, and totally off topic, aribeth can blow, what a naff storyline!

I don't wanna argue with you, but it's not the way I imagined the classics will be preserved by GOG when I first logged on to this website.

They are not in the business of preserving old games. That was an early phase unique selling point to get customers in.
cool

I found my old reference card and that huuuuuge spiraled manual.

Also. pretty sure that fabric map is around here somewhere.

Other companies don't go around removing games from GOG because no one wants to buy their mod compilation for twice the price.
