Lady Aribeth, you'll never walk alone.

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition is now available DRM-free, 25% off until October 18th 1pm UTC. Neverwinter Nights Diamond is now included in the Enhanced Edition as a free bonus goodie. Current owners of Diamond get an additional 25% off when purchasing the Enhanced Edition.

The D&N epic returns, now with subtle graphical improvements and a completely rebuilt multiplayer system, backwards compatible with all the mods, modules, and save games you were using in the original.

Get the Digital Deluxe Edition which includes several adventure modules, the game's Soundtrack and the Heroes of Neverwinter pack or grab each of them separately.

BleepBl00p: And of course they pulled the original from the store so people can no longer buy it for a reasonable price. Another disgusting move from GOG.
So, who's alt are you, Mr. Oh-So-Disgruntled-Customer-Yet-Joined-This-Month-And-Has-Zero-Games?
Beamdog, so no.

and lol
Hey -- is it bad that I know where every one of the scenes is in the game, shown on the advertisement video? :P
They had to issue a warning about removing Diamond Edition. I completed this game years ago, on my first PC (first game I ever played with such dedication) and just wanted to purchase digital copy sometimes. I'm not interested in pricey EE because I doubt I will play it again any time soon.
Now, where I can get old DE only? Why Full pack of NWN stuff cost for my region as new Assassin Creed game on Day 0?

GOG Doesnt own the license, Beamdog does. So the only choice GOG has is to comply with BD or people just don't get to buy the game at all.

LOL. People had ages to buy the original. Besides there still are free copies floating around. So I don't see the reason for the uproar. Yes, the Deluxe is a bit overpriced, but nobody forces you to buy.

There are no free legal copies floating around, not.

Actually yes. If someone wants to buy the normal edition, Beamdog are forcing the person to buy the EE version if they want the classic version. So yeah. Beamdog made sure it is their version or no version.
How the hell is that company still legal...?

Sabin_Stargem: My speculation is that Ossian has partnered with Beamdog to create more modules down the road, with DOD:EE as a test drive.
According to one of the BD video streams, Ossian studios are now tasked with overhauling all characters and textures in the game (which should be added in a further patch), so it seems they have some sort of a deal.
I always found Lady Aribeth a repulsive character. The worst of both worlds. You'll know what I mean when you play NWN.

There were free NWN keys given away with the witcher 3 pre-order. I'm sure there are people with a key around.
While Planescape Torment, BG 1-2 and Icewind Dale got an italian translation (for Planescape Torment the italian translation is still 80% complete) and mac/linux release with the EE, and the old games need extra work to be playable.
For Neverwinter Night I see no reason to buy an EE. The games run fine on modern machine (even linux with wine), there is already the italian translation, and even got a mac native release of the original game.

I don't say it's a bad thing (I'm not against beamdog), I just say this is not something I will buy.

wow, average customer now can look for the remnants of free keys on the forums if he wants to get only the vanilla version, or accept paywall+dlc and buy EE
so many choices

You do realize that the original had a Linux version as well? https://www.gog.com/forum/neverwinter_nights_series/guidelinux_install_neverwinter_nights_on_any_linux_distribution
