Uh, what terrible graphics! Looks like my old C-64 got diarrhea.
What a creepy artstyle, bruh. 5-th screenshot (on game page) reminds me movie Dune (1984), when Paul put his hand in the box when Witch ask him with "Voice" to do that. Really creepy moment, by the truth almost all movie creepy, but that's OK. Don't understand why it (movie) has such bad reviews...
low rated
That really is some half assed, 2000's newgrounds caliber presentation. Good job curation.

Oh it could be the wooden acting, terrible and hard-to-follow script (way too many story holes/jumps in the movie adaptation), or the so-so directing. The only good thing it had going for itself was the special effects/costumes/visual design. Other than that it really is just a bad movie.

Yeah the Dune movie was just so awkwardly acted and just so long, poorly paced and bafflingly incomprehensible that it was a really, really rough watch.

I'll never understand where I found the strenght to watch it till the end. Just because I was watching it in company. The main problem is that the producer de Laurentis was being stingy and also had the screenplay cut in a bad way. It was better if Lynch had accepted to make the Star Wars film for Lucas. The only good thing in that movie is seeing Eraserhead and Twin Peaks cast in funny clothes.

Oh, and you can see Picard as a smuggler.
Honestly, this game looks like it could be really interesting and spicy. But does it live up to it's implications, or is it 1-dimensional in the ending and direction?
+1 for a really nice idea. We haven’t seen something like that yet. The artistic style isn’t in my liking however and I see that I’m not alone on this one.

and the soundtrack. and cryo's game with a similarly awesome soundtrack. but as much as I love the books, I also love the movie. much like stephen king adaptations, if you forget that there's a book it's based on, it's easier to enjoy.

as for this game, I can take or leave the art style, but the time management aspect 100% kills it.

Bah, you guys are clueless. Lynch's Dune is fantastic. I man yes, sure, it's also something of an incoherent mess full of awkward voiceovers, but it's still fantastic :D The cast is one of the best ever assembled, and I disagree about the acting, I think it's perfect for this film, this world, this story. In fact, I think that's exactly what the movie gets right - captures this strange futuristic, feudal, world of shakespearian tragedy and hightened language. The visuals are still great and memorable and the music is absolutely amazing, one of the best movie scores ever. The Prophecy Theme is do die for.

I don't understand why you are so critical of the movie. In my opinion the actors play at a high level (no "playfulness" - sorry but google tanslate bad at some words, specific to my language ), the plot is quite complete and don't have critical flows. Maybe adaptation for my country were better than the original (I'm about the meaning laid down in history )...

The trailer made me laugh, the guy is like discount store version of Laurence Fishburne's Morpheus complete with typical b movie (over)acting.

It's pretty typical for sci fi book with complex story getting butchered by Hollywood so it can fit their typical 2 hours format. This will obviously ticked off the original fans and confuse the newcomers to the story.

Picard is the best part of the movie. Him going to battle while holding a small doggo was glorious to see. Also him not dead made me cheer when he show up again.
