Absolute classics! M1 Tank Platoon and M1 Tank Platoon II are now available on GOG! You can get them individually or grab both at the same time with special M1 Tank Platoon Collection.

These action-strategy tank simulators were released in 1989 and 1998 respectively and both of them mix nostalgia with awesome gameplay in the best way possible.

M1 Tank Platoon is a tank warfare tactical simulator having its roots in the Commodore Amiga, Atari ST and MS-DOS. You are put in the position of a main battle tank platoon commander in charge of four U.S. M1 Abrams tanks in a fictional campaign of battles against the Soviet Army in Central Europe. You can give orders to friendly units via a tactical map of the battle area as well as taking control of a single tank - assuming the role of either the tank commander, driver or gunner. Between the battles, surviving crew members increase in military rank and skill giving you an incentive to keep his team alive.

Its 9 years older brother, M1 Tank Platoon II is similar in its core and gives you command of a platoon of four M1A2 Abrams tanks and their crew. You make all the important decisions; including firing your tank's vast arsenal of weapons and using the state-of-the-art thermal view to seek out and destroy enemy forces. You can switch between fully-functioning internal cockpits or observe the conflict at first hand with the external 3-D view. It's all there for you: from commanding an individual tank to calling in support from aircraft, helicopters, ground vehicles and infantry!

Jump in and blast your enemies!
M1 tank platoon 2 and collection links are faulty, could you please take a look at it?
Wow! This is a great surprise! One of my fav tank games when I was a kid. Never got a chance to play M1TP2....now I can! Thanks Microprose/Interplay and GOG!! Better yet, I'll thank you with an Insta-buy!

Always great to see more classic games show up.
The price and the regional pricing (12.09€ instead of $9.99) is insane. Interplay have lost their mind.

Buy the collection (€18,19).
Then it's $8,98 each.

Agreed.

There are probably a few fans who would buy these games at this price, but I can't imagine anyone who are new to these games doing the same. And if they're not already fans, the collection is an even harder buy.
"25-years-old game costs 12 bucks"
"Checks publisher"
"It's Interplay"
"Every. Single. Time."
"Checks Interplay's catalog again"
"Games have had their prices increased again"
"MFW Messiah now costs 15 bucks"

And if it doesn't sell they will probably claim piracy effected their sales rather then the fact their price points are insane.

Soon Interplay will use the 1 year = $1 rule . :p
Wonderful releases! It's always nice to see new classic game additions.

Perhaps a missing launch discount? We'll see in a few hours, I guess...
high rated
Price on Steam: €8.19 per game or €12.28 for both
Price on GOG: €12.09 per game or €18.19 for both

In an alternate universe, this pricing would make sense. But, this is not an alternate universe.
I looked at the prices, didn't look any further, just ridiculous.

$16 AUD each or both for $25 AUD.

Don't know what is going on, but it appears to be a trend now, one that is turning me away.

Just getting too silly and greedy.
Yes, Have been waiting for this!

I was sneaking around it for months in the Steam store ... No, I said. I'll wait for it to come to GOG.
Then the game made it into the Epic store for an even lower price than on steam! ... No, I said. I'll wait for it to come to GOG.

Now it's here, finally! :-D
But the price is a disappointment.
