A love letter to the glorious jRPG Days!

Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds, is now available, DRM-Free on GOG.com.
If there's one thing the world of Legrand has in abundance apart from beautifully illustrated environments, that's epic turn-based encounters, reminiscent of the genre's highlights! Together with a dramatic story, an intriguing cast of characters, and a small city waiting for you to gradually restore it to its former glory, this is an experience worthy of the celebrated classics.

Craving more jRPG goodness? Spend some jRPG Days with us, in the company of beloved champions of the genre like Celestian Tales, Regalia, or the Ys and Legend of Heroes series, going for up to -80% until January 31, 11PM UTC.
It's been a while since I backed this on KS, it'll be interesting to see how the end result plays.
As always a big thanks to GOG for working with Inde and crowd funded game developers.
SO happy this is here on GOG! Congrats to the team at Semisoft on the launch and thank you to GOG for accepting this gorgeous game!
Only found out about this recently. Look interesting enough.
Looks cool actually.

Look forward to impressions - especially about how all the subsystems work together (love the idea of throwing in tactical field level engagements).

Also, is it a requirement for JRPG games to have a fishing minigame? ;)
Someone needs to make a fishing game with a jrpg in it.
Looks great, but after reading, looks like it needs a pad.
So no..
Apparently this was made by an Indonesian team and had a modest kickstarter. Smaller projects such as this that manage to pull through are frequently passion projects, so I'm looking forward to what people's impressions are.

Definitely not released on January 24, 2017 though.

EDIT: They fixed it.

It´s confusingly worded, but I think it means to say that you can play fully with either keyboard+mouse or a controller, but will occasionally need a keyboard or controller for certain prompts if you´re going to play with only the mouse.
it's nice people are excited for this, but to me it looks pretty bad

"Legrand Legacy" ???? lame-name+pretentiousness in the name starts me off with skepticism

Dumville? just no

the trailer was boring and bad, it shows/tells me nothing (characters like to rub their swords together is the lasting impression) what is the deal with trailers these days?

the description tells me nothing (broad tropes of "epic fantasy and save the land" - whoopie dooo, and just general statements in general! "treasure, quests" - wow, really? a love letter to classic JRPGs, which means what exactly? a fresh take on turnbased tactical, okay, tell me how, or just show me in the fucking trailer)
I didn't expect this to actually come on GoG, so I planned on waiting for the console version, but now that it's on GoG I went ahead and bought it.

Why rely on a trailer in this day and age? If you want gameplay, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYEYeZ4X1RE

Prologue of the game. No commentary. Shows option settings. It's giving off some decent vibes - not a big budget production but it has heart to it and more of a classic jrpg look.
I see there is a jRPG sale on and that it ends in forty minutes. That makes is a mere two hour sale = very short = lots of angry customers becasue they will have missed it.
It seems pretty obvious that GOG put together a JRPG sale to celebrate the launch of this game. Weird that there is no News post talking about it. Either way, that is really nice of GOG and all the publishers that are part of the sale to do for this game's release.

Seems like the timer on the main page is busted. The sale is good for a full week.

I guess sale is because two JRPGs actually release today. Legrand Legacy and Zwei.
