Awesome releases!

I just bought them and they are "IN LIBRARY" but for some reason they are still listed as "GAMES YOU DON'T OWN" in the Hitman Promo page, and if I add all of them to the cart, it shows those as not owned.

edit:

It must be a promo related bug, I cleared my history and now all the promos list all titles as "GAMES YOU DON'T OWN", including stuff I've owned for ages like Hitman 2, and Legend of Grimrock.

AvatarX001: Hitman: Absolution is actually a really good game
Hitman: Absolution is also like Max Payne 3
Sorry, but I have to disagree with on both counts. Absolution is truly atrocious to a degree I didn't think was possible from a great company like IOI and I heartily recommend everyone who unironically enjoys it to go check out Rogue Warrior. Absolution plays pretty much EXACTLY as if someone at IOI played Rogue Warrior and went "Gentlemen, I have seen the future of the Hitman franchise!". It's insultingly bad and shits over everything that made the first four games great.

I kind of get where you're coming from with the Max Payne 3 comparison, but the difference is that Max Payne 3 is crazy awesome while Absolution is, well, garbage. Really, really sad, supbar, pitiful garbage and a poster child for how all the horror stories about dumbing games down for the modern crowd were completely true after all (pic related).
Praise from the r/gamedeals thread:

"Awesome! Time to finally buy Absolution and Blood Money. GOG’s been doing excellent lately with the amazing game releases. Can’t wait to see what else they bring"

"I love that they seem to be focusing more on old(er) games again."

It was in a pack for 9 bucks on steam a while back, so instead of buying them seperately I bought the whole friggin pack, Which I fully regret.

I hated the hitman games and this comes from a guy who LOVED splinter cell so yeah!

Splinter Cell and Hitman are completely different. Seeing you hated Hitman, but loved Splinter Cell. I wonder what do you think of the thief games?

AvatarX001: Hitman: Absolution is actually a really good game. It is just not a standard Hitman game in any way. It don't fits into the way a Hitman game should be. That is true. Surprisingly, even the sniper games of hitman and Hitman GO fit more into the hitman style than absolution. But it still brought in innovations that were then refined and fit in the hitman style in the last two new games. For me Hitman: Absolution is also like Max Payne 3. They are odd ducks in the sense that they could have used an alternative similar character and it would had been better received critcally, just not in terms of sales.

koima57: Absolution was very much like IOI Kane & Lynch 2.
Hah. Not at all. Kane as series flopped with critics, user scores and sales. Hitman: Absolution actually did well on all 3 areas. And that observation is not a matter of opinion. It is a fact.

That is an even more extreme comparison that say it is IO's Kane & Lynch. Yes, Absolution is a shocking departure from blood money. But it is nowhere near an aimless game like Rogue Warrior. . Which was just a rip off ideas from the Punisher game on the Original Xbox and Dead to Rights.

But yeah, We can agree to disagree on this one. As Rogue Warrior flopped with critics, userscores and sales. Absolution didn't.

I also liked Max Payne 3. It is just odd. Something made more evident even in the flashback mission. It is just not right.

Gameplay and presentation are very similar, cinematic action with chapters / episodes.

"Action" is a bit off. It's a stealth game.
