Hitman: Absolution & Hitman: Blood Money are now available DRM-free. Get Hitman series 75% off until April 11th, 1pm UTC.

Money talks. Silence pays. Prepare to make a killing and follow the story of Hitman: Blood Money. When assassins from Agent 47's contract agency, The ICA, are eliminated in a series of hits, it seems a larger, more powerful agency has entered the fray. Sensing he may be a target, 47 travels to America, and prepares to make a killing.

Hitman: Absolution follows the Original Assassin undertaking his most personal contract to date. Betrayed by the Agency and hunted by the police, Agent 47 finds himself pursuing redemption in a corrupt and twisted world.
Not a good sign if Square Enix owning the IP was an obstacle that was cleared by IO regaining independence and ownership of the franchise, including publishing rights.

tinyE: Do these have that same awful limited save system the older ones have?
Absolution has mid level save points, enemies respawn when you use them though it's dumb. Levels are shorter in Absolution though, it's a decent intro to the series due to being a bit simpler.

Blood Money does not have save limitations iirc.
A great release, though my GOG wallet disagree. If Hitman series get 75% discount at Summer Sale, I'll buy them then. Wishlisted for now.
Nice, bought. And in the vein of classic video game characters, we still need these on GOG:

Bought the lot - Thanks GOG and IO. I also echo the thoughts of Freedom Fighters etc being released that would be amazing.

Also I wonder if that means we will get a DRM free release of the latest Hitman?
Nice. Thanks IO and GOG.

True. At first I thought this might mean more SE-owned games, but the actual reality may be that we still won't see any more TR games or other SE-held franchises. =/

EA probably still holds rights for that, so... *shrug*

Nice, been seeing people want Blood Money for a while.
They're actually here! You did it, GOG! And with such an amazing introductory discount. This year has been mind blowing with releases. Now take my wallet. Don't open it. No, I swear there's more than moths and dust bunnies in there. Just take it! :D

Highly unlikely. the new Hitman games are almost always online games. They can be played offline but you can't get any unlocks for items and mission start locations etc. So the offline game is extremely dull. My guess is that Absolution is the last game we will see from the Hitman series DRM Free on GOG unless IO interactive completely overhaul the new games to work offline as well without online server connectivity requirements.
I love you, GOG.
I've never played the series and I'm going to try with the first one, Hitman: Codename 47. Does it make sense? :)
bought the whole series!

good job gog
Awesome! Great to see these here. Thanks GOG and IO!
Ah yes, I forgot that Square Enix is no longer involved with the Hitman series.
Awesome to finally see them here. I bought the rest here in GOG. So, will probably rebuy them here too in support of IO. I wish Absolution had achievements support. And I am wondering if it does come with the Sniper Challenge?
