Beware the Black Death, destroyer of kingdoms.

Grand Ages: Medieval a global strategy game of war and economics, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com.

How do you feel about gameplay on a grand scale? Well, Grand Ages: Medieval is ready to tickle your fancy of grandeur. There are hundreds of settlements, and over 30,000,000 Square Kilometers of Europe, Africa, Middle East and Scandinavia - and when you zoom in on your local lumberjacks going about their day, the immensity of it all immediately hits home.
Grand Ages: Medieval is first and foremost a game of economics and city building. You'll start out with a lonely settlement to build up from scratch, while slowly building up trade networks and relationships with neighboring, up-and-coming kingdoms, just like yours. The goal? Total domination, obviously. But whether you set out to to achieve medieval superiority through trade and coin, or sword and shield - the choice is yours to make.

Rule your transcontinental kingdom in Grand Ages: Medieval now on GOG.com.
Ok, thanks. This works. But I can't download the game ... "Server problem"

I need the german installation. So downloading from the homepage isn't an option.

Matruchus: Tropico 4 is missing Mac version too -> also Kalypso. I wonder though what happened to the linux version.
Feral has the rights to the Mac version and since GOG hasn't a signed a deal with them, they can't bring it here. Also, I don't think there is a Linux version for Tropico 4 (at least, I don't see one on Steam), but there is one for Tropico 5 (which isn't here yet, though).

All the languages are in the game so you can safely download from your game shelf :)

Ganni1987: Yet again, another game that has a Linux version on Steam but not on GOG. Can anyone from the GOG team give a reason for this? I've asked the same question regarding Dungeons 2 (another Kalypso title) and there was no reply to that.

Metro 2033 Redux
Metro Last Light Redux
Grand Ages Medieval
Dungeons 2

These 4 games have one thing in common, they all came on GOG without their Mac/Linux versions and the lack of a proper reason why.

Add Crookz - The Big Heist to the list.

I'd also like some of the blues commenting on this issue, as it seems they are particularly chatty today. :)
Humm...i installed the DLCs.
But both are not showing in game.
I'm stuck with the OFF thing if i try to choose them from the DLC menu.

I think,i'm going to wait to play.
It's day one...bugs,error and problem are common ^^
Does this mean there is no LAN or direct connect multiplayer, only online through galaxy?
I thought I had this one on my wishlist ...

Do games vanish from the wishlist after release when you add them before the release?

Hm. Now that you mention it, I recall having wishlisted it before, and here too it's not wishlisted now.

Does anyone how will the pre-order DLC become available for those that didn't get the game on pre-order?

Unfortunately, they are pre-order exclusives:
[Ciris:] To address questions about the DLCs being available later (or not), they're only going to be available for the pre-order period, as per the publisher's strategies for all outlets.

I think that maybe at some point these DLCs might be available in some complete/deluxe/ultimate edition, but that's nothing confirmed and just a wild guess based on trends on the gaming market.

The "disappearing wishlist entries mystery" explained.

The day mrkgnao decides to leave this place we'll be doomed. DOOMED, I SAY!
Beside the campaign mode, is there a custom scenario of sorts? Like a skirmish type mode if you will, where I choose how many leaders are in the game, stuff like that?

Yeah, I think there's an open world game option that lets you pick your starting city and opposing forces/conditions.
Yea there is a skirmish type mode where you pick map size, # of competitors, difficulty setting, starting amount of money and cities.

Sadly it appears as though this is the case. Which is very disappointing. GOG Prides itself on not having DRM, except forcing multiplayer through a steam-type client is essentially DRM. It's making it obvious that you can't use the multiplayer portion of this game if you do not wish to use GOG galaxy. Tbh the fact that people are being forced to be online in any way shape or form to play multiplayer seems a bit wrong to me.

I really hope this is corrected at some point. I really want LAN play because I'm moving and I am going from an isolated small town to a fairly large one and I'd like to start organizing lan parties.
I am still unable to install the game through GOG Galaxy because the game tag on my shelf still say 'not available yet'. Bought the game as prepurshase and been waiting for two weeks only to see soundtrack only.
