Based on the bestselling list there has been a ton of support for the game on GOG.

Yet I haven't seen anything on achievements. Feels like a slap in the face, to be honest.

I didn't have an issue with the Enhanced Edition for the first game not having them but I thought that was a thing across the board. Not GOG getting excluded.

Now that I have your attention, I wanted to play a half-drow male in the campaign but in the old version of the game there is a facial glitch. (I also believe that the Yuan-Ti was affected.) Has this bug been fixed?

I've played the original version for hundred of hours and I've barely noticed anything different with this version, except that it perhaps runs a bit more smoothly and texts are a bit bigger but its incredibly lackluster otherwise.

Game crashes on startup oO

I'm afraid, I cannot even enter the game :/ ... it's literally the first game of all my library, that will not start oO

Funny thing the NWN 2 Complete Edition runs without any problem...

Syphon works for neither GOG nor (AFAIK) the dev/pub of this game; he was just quoting (without quote tags or quotation marks, admittedly) a pinned notice about the issue from the product page.

Where's Linux support?

Not officially supported. It will probably work with Lutris or whichever way you prefer to run windows games in Linux.

Unpopular opinion: Achievements are unnecessary in games.

Do they actually unlock anything or is it just to show off.

I would much rather developers devote time to make a working complete game.

The first game has native Linux support, as the rest of the games remastered by Beamdog. Without native linux, the best I can do is -75% at sale.
