Deliver Us The Moon is a Sci-Fi thriller set in an apocalyptic near future where Earth's natural resources are depleted. In an effort to solve the energy crisis, global powers created the World Space Agency and secured a promising new source of energy on the moon.

The World Space Agency colonized and operated from the moon until one fateful night all communications with Earth ceased and the energy source was lost. Now, years later, you assume the role of Earth's last astronaut on a do-or-die mission to investigate what happened and save humanity.

Global co-operation can save the globe = check
Having an ASE drone instead of hysterical Greta = subtle

Oh boy, I thought gaming was about entertainment and escapism.

Hard pass. Thx

*removed by staff for being "impolite" *

As for the game, it's intriguing but the latest scifi space game I played, Observation, got me disapointed.

Gonna wait for some reviews.

I'm gonna pass on this one, too, for the same reasons... looks amazing and I love space games (Lone Echo, wow!), but this one seems like it's grounded too much in the stuff I try to avoid in real life

I'm let down by the title suggesting that it's a line you'd hear from a cartoon supervillain or something and the game is a sim-style title with nothing of the sort in it.

I'm seeing a lot of praise for the game, but also a lot of "you can finish it in 4 hours with exploring everything" remarks

That's valid for the pre-release version. They added the Tombaugh area with the release version.

Zoidberg: What about you finally escape the european union and keep to your salt ridden island?
I hope you realise that this guy (and the Brexiteers) do not represent all of us.

Just to point something out to this forum:-

Making an observation about the overt politization of a video game is not offensive. Video games are supposed to be interactive entertainment for all. They are not supposed to be party political broadcasts for any faction.

And as for comments that my initial post was somehow related the UK wanting to leave the EU.......I'm not even going to lower myself that that level of debate.

Life is for living and enjoying, you should try it!

Peace out.

Personally, I wanted to endorse SirPrimalform's comment because the media loves to stoke conflict and division. It rarely represents any viewpoint fairly.

But I see your point, DarksideBD. I must admit I prefer to escape 'issues' when playing games, no matter how much I may support those issues in real life. A bit of escapism and downtime is a must.

Exactly my point wasp08,

Like you I have my political leanings but when I'm gaming they're not relevent whatsoever.
I've choosen to enter a digital world to escape the division being sown around us.

Take care friend.

Climate change is not a political issue you mouth breather. You don't get to define what video games are and what they strive for because you reject common sense and facts for "muh political agenda!!!!1!!!"

With respect, like me you are not in reciept of all the facts only opinions and hearsay.

I am not of one opinion or another about the whole issue.

However I'll just mention that in the 70's and 80's we were told about the upcoming ice age, In the 90's we were told the appocalyiptic tale of acid rain then in the 90's we had the hole in the ozone layer.

But we're still here...

Academics are still not fully convinced about the causes of global warming and untill they agree I prefer not to take anybody's word as gospel.

However if you're convinced, perhaps we can chat again in 13yrs when we're all dead.

Respect.

You're not wrong about this. But maybe in the future you should also try to word your opinion in a more neutral way. I'm pretty sure people will stop downvoting you when you do.

About the rest of your post: That's nonsense of course. Every developer has the right to create a game that expresses their political view and that's absolutely fine. Not every game has to be for everyone.
