What’s even better than a -68% Halloween Sale discount for Costume Quest, a beloved Halloween RPG adventure with a charming role-playing gameplay?

How about the release of its sequel, Costume Quest 2, with a -50% Halloween Sale discount!

In this entry, you’ll trick, treat and pick a fight with villianous dental soldiers. This inspired RPG adventure includes a range of new features and gameplay improvements to double the amount of mischievous fun that we’ve come to know and love from the original Costume Quest.

Explore spooky time-traversing landscapes, don adorable new costumes that transform into powerful Hallo-warriors, and collect even Creepier Treat Cards to wield in combat against a legion of hygiene obsessed baddies. Only heroic siblings Wren and Reynold can save Halloween forever!

Check it out!
Okay, I'll say it:

Only nine years too late!
That's... a little late? for some reason I was sure CQ2 was here already, but I guess it is just becuase most other Double Fine games are
I was excited to buy it until I see the Mac version is absent :( It's available DRM-Free on EGS.

EDIT: Oh. Nevermind. Seems like both games are 32-bit.

Make sure someone in your party is wearing the candy corn costume for the full experience
looks like I was right again, not even a 75% discount for a 10-year-old game that got bundled crazy fast because that's what double fine used to do back then.
The game has five pre-order costumes: Sackboy, Robot, Unicorn, Pumpkin, and Eyeball.

Since the store page here doesn't mention anything about these costumes, I'm assuming that it's just like the Epic version that didn't have pre-order bonus options. The costumes are there, just disabled. On that other steamy storefront, someone posted a guide on how to modify your game to unlock the above mentioned costumes.

The Unicorn is pretty useful early on. Beside being a healer, it's timing meter for combos is probably the least glitchy.

edit - Saw a review on the page for this game confirming that these costumes are not available by default, which means you do need to mod your game yourself to get them.

Is this game missing Galaxy Achievements even though it has Achievements elsewhere?

If so, then why?

Nice to see it here. I was especially glad when DF's The Cave showed up a few months back.
The base price is lower on Steam where you can now buy both Costume Quests for half of the price (halloween discount).
As much as I love Double Fine, I'll wait for a better deal.

Technically no game is to late for GOG.

One could almost call it... an instant classic! ;)
Have to admit, imo this should have been at least -75%, to be closer to competing with the Steam deal of CQ1+2 of -75%. I assume the pubs want to push people to Steam though.
