TerrorK: I want to get these, but I'm wondering... your original post says "up to 50% off" in the Blaster Bundle. But for me even with everything selected it's listed as 37% off. Is there something I'm missing here?
If you select the entire bundle you'll get a 50% discount on some games. But less in the others.

The average sum of all discounts totals a 37% discount in relation to the full price of all games.

zeffyr: Hm, I can't see it :)
He did fix X-Wing.

"Includes STAR WARS™: X-Wing and all Tour of Duty expansions: Imperial Pursuit and B-Wing in all three versions: 1993 (DOS), 1994 (DOS CD), and 1998 (Windows) versions!"

Looking at the list though, neither X-Wing nor TIE Fighter are amongst them. In fact, the only one that IS 50% cheaper is Rogue Squadron 3D. The rest are all around 35% off.

I suppose if one in the list is 50% off it's not technically wrong, but the way it's worded makes it at LEAST sound like even if they all aren't that at least X-Wing and TIE Fighter are amongst the ones that are.

EDIT: Okay, my math was off, so are Galactica Battlegrounds and Rebellion. Still... the two games being talked about in this article specifically do NOT go up to 50% off.

Man the music in these versions sounds a bit odd, like the emulation isn't quite right

I complained about this exact thing earlier in the thread. The release news on these 2 games says that you can get these 2 games up to 50% off in the Blaster bundle, and that is patently not the case. At least you got some responses, I just got flat ignored. :( Crying in the corner, feeling rejected.

And TIE Fighter and moved both of those points further up so there's no missing them :)
now I need an easy way to have Gravis Sound
I've never played either of these games, and just bought the bundle. Are these "Collector's CD-ROM" versions really the "definite release" of these two games? Can I then completely ignore the earlier versions or do those have something that the new versions are lacking?

I have to agree that the wording is definitely mis-leading here, in that the announcement makes you think X-Wing and Tie are 50% off..

Not claiming GOG wrote it that way on purpose, but it IS misleading (intentional or not).

The XvT Engine Windows releases has better (more detailed & realistic) graphics.

The TIE-Fighter CD-ROM Collector's Edition has much more immersive iMUSE music which dynamically changes depending on what's going on in combat.

It is up to you which you find more important. I go with the music myself.
Up to 50% off means anywhere between 0 and 50%. I really don't see how anyone can interpret it otherwise.

Anyway, thanks GOG for adding the Collector's CD-Roms!

I assume that by "XvT Engine Windows releases" you mean the 1998 versions of "Star Wars: X-Wing" and "Star Wars: TIE Fighter"? So the 1998 versions have better graphics, but these "Collector's CD-ROM" versions have better music?
