Flow like chaos.

Caladrius Blaze, a masterclass in shoot-em-up, is now available, with GOG Galaxy support for achievements, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 10% launch discount!

Formerly a console-exclusive, the quintessential corridor shoot-em-up comes to PC – where classic gameplay meets modern design, then clashes in a spectacle of flash, flesh, and destruction.

At it's core Caladrius Blaze is a SHMUP's SHMUP. But high production values and a few twists splash a fresh coat of paint and excitement on a familiar formula. Aside from standard attacks and upgrades, you'll need to master unique elemental weapons to both combo for the highest of high scores, and at times, to actually make it through the levels.

Caladrius Blaze isn't extremely long – but that's no bad thing, because there's not a dull moment in sight. It never has to pull its punches either – and whether you're new or a veteran, there's bound to be a difficulty level to match what you've got.
Approach with care, the game does tend to get NSFW at times.

Flow like chaos and flashy destruction in Caladrius Blaze, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The 10% discount will last until January 19, 7:59 AM UTC.

I looked at the trailer, so this is a card game? (Who ever is in charge of the game trailers might want to either ask the publisher for a trailer that is a better representation of the core game play lest a potential purchaser think it's a Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh type game.)

benmar: I made a new year resolution that I will buy no more than one game per three games from my backlog completed during 2017. So I sadly have to force myself to wait, but a time will surely come when this game will be mine.
I thought about something similar, only one to one ratio. For 5 min, then I started laughing.
Good luck.
Shamu Breakku!

Zoidberg: Ouch that's kinda expensive I find for an older game of that kind. But hey cool for the fans!
older?

the recommended system req. dont look that old to me :D

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.66GHz or better
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: Graphic card with 1GB VRAM or better
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 2 GB available space
Sound Card: Direct Sound

the good thing is i can run this at recommended, i like card games, but those are more the classic cardgames like solitaire (ancient game),
In Australia this game is 30 bucks after the discount.

I mean, I badly want to support shooters on here but come on, that's just too expensive, especially when I have no clue that you might or might not actually bring more shooters, let alone make amends with the likes of Degica.

This really should come with even a small fair price package...

I completely agree about the trailer, whoever made that didn't point out what the game is all about. To their defence, though, they also included screenshots, so no one who'll visit the storepage should have any doubts about the genre.
I can't help but chuckle everytime I read the description. As if ANY game ever was SFW... Tolerated maybe, when no one is looking and there is shortage of work, but safe?

Also, how much NSFW are we talking about? Let's say on scale from Knights of Xentar to ocasional wardrobe malfunction conveniently obscured by something else? Dirty^WInquiring minds want to know!

That's getting old yeah, not that the required configuration matters much in judging a game as being "older". :P

GOG, you didn’t listen to @ZFR. ;)

You may need to take a better look as it's a shoot'em up we are talking about here and not a card game (although the mistake is understandable considering the trailer).

I'd recommend to have a look at gameplay videos on Youtube to get a better idea (and since you don't support flash and other visual effects, I can guess that it would probably not be an appropriate buy for you).

Faint praise for a game with a $25 price tag attached to it.
Do I buy this to support getting more Japanese games and fanservice games here? Or do I not buy it because I will dislike it? [s]At least it doesn't look like a bullet hell shooter.[/s] [EDIT] I take that back, it is bullet hell.

Also, this link was posted in the announcement thread for some actual gameplay footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5IZSn4aZ1E

What's wrong with bullet hell type shooters?

Yeah, 20+ Euros here.

I would support Anime and Shooters, but not at this price. See the other shooting games. Sorry, the South American Price of 13 Dollars would be okay, but not this one. Goes to the wishlist. Sorry GOG.
