The ocean will claim everything.

Titanic: Adventure out of Time is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 10% discount until January 4, 2PM UTC.
A former secret agent who survived history's most notorious shipwreck now gets a second chance to relive the days leading up to that fateful night. Engage in FMV conversations, face tricky puzzles, and uncover dangerous secrets that could alter the game's ending, not to mention history itself.
This is a story of titanic proportions.
The last entry in WineHQ's AppDB is ancient but it should work, can someone owning it please try it on current Wine for us penguins?

You were not kidding when you said the entry was ancient. Sorry I do not have the game (yet?).

gibbeynator: So this is the major classic game that people have been begging Night Dive to put out that Stephen Kick was hyping a few weeks back? Lame. And where's Maniac Mansion?
Maniac Mansion is included as a easter egg bonus in "Day Of The Tentacle"/ I think the DOTT forum has details.

Titanic Adventure out of time was a instabuy for me. This was one of the first games I bough for my first windows 95 computer.
Nice to have it available again, since the original version was pretty much unplayable on any Wndows XP or later.

I'm working on it now. The main problem is that the game wants to run in 256 colours at 640 x 480, which makes it a no-go on my primary machine (OS X since at least 10.8 doesn't support 256 color mode anymore). I'm currently installing it on my 10.6 legacy testing mule (aka a 32-bit Core Duo MacBook).
I guess gog wanted to release something that's a bigger wreck than their store curation...

Nice try!
All I have to post is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9DKoMSiDc4
Can't believe Night Dive has managed the feat. Great work I gladly support.

I just watched a bit of a let's play but I could not see any subtitles for the dialogues. Can you turn subtitles on?

It's always good to see FMV titles brought back. There were some pretty solid games among them despite the vast amount of dreck gave the whole thing a bad name.
This game is amazing.

Apparently you can :) Go into options (by clicking on the lifebelt) and in the bottom right hand corner is the option to turn on/off subtitles.

Thank you - meanwhile I was told the same. However keep in mind that only the dialogues will be subtitled, no off voices or cutscenes.
