Until 4th March 2020, 5 PM UTC, when you buy BEAUTIFUL DESOLATION on GOG.COM you will get STASIS game for free. That's not all. If you already own STASIS, BEAUTIFUL DESOLATION will be available to you with a special 10% discount lasting also until 4th March 2020, 5 PM UTC.
Thanks, guys. You decided for me what I will play this weekend. :)

I just bought Beautiful Desolation and I had Stasis already. Unfortunately, you are not given a gift code as far as I can tell. I checked the email and the receipt here on GOG.

The game looks good though, so I am glad I purchased it either way. The free game is a nice bonus for those who have not played Stasis.

Well, it says right in the announcement post you'll get 10% discount instead, which is what I got when I just bought it. I suppose you could contact customer support to see if you can possibly get a gift code instead.
Does anyone know if the Supporters pack acts as the Deluxe Edition upgrade? I notice there are some things listed in the DE that the supporters pack does not list such as radio adverts, screenplay, in game text document, poems, etc.

I am guilty of buying it before checking for different editions. :P

Those are actually Stasis/Stasis Deluxe goodies included in the grid, Beautiful Desolation Deluxe Edition contains the base game as well as the Supporter's Pack contents: https://www.gog.com/game/beautiful_desolation_supporters_pack

Ok, it does not make that clear...either that or I just did not read the fine print. I just checked and I have the Stasis deluxe items and they are the same. So, you are correct. :)

The layout is confusing as it makes it seem as if the radio adverts, poems, etc are for Beautiful Desolation not Stasis.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I jumped the gun (again) when I sent out a support ticket to fast. :)

You can test new refund policy :)
- P&C Puzzles and classic adventure gameplay.
- An 80's retro technology look and feel.
- A story-driven adventure set in a dystopian post-apocalyptic future.
- A unique tribal punk aesthetic and 2D isometric rendered environments.
- African landscapes captured with photogrammetry and scale model elements.
- Bizarre creatures, animals and vibrant characters await.

Ooh,...nice!
First game released in 2020 that I've bought. The concept and presentation are too awesome to pass up.

Well, the announcement did not make it really clear that this was a "instead" case rather than "additionally".
The "That's not all" part of the sentence still makes me doubt it.

Oooh sexy. And STATIS just oozed atmosphere and fun gameplay (this coming from someone who isn't typically a P&C sort of player). And this adds even more gameplay. Reminds me almost of Beyond Good and Evil in a classic '90s adventure heyday iso-package.
This will probably one of the next games I'll buy. I really liked Stasis and Cayne.
Okay, just bought the game. It shows me that Beautiful Desolation and Stasis has been added to my library but there's no additional Stasis available. The wording in the news

"Until 4th March 2020, 5 PM UTC, when you buy BEAUTIFUL DESOLATION on GOG.COM you will get STASIS game for free. That's not all. If you already own STASIS, BEAUTIFUL DESOLATION will be available to you with a special 10% discount lasting also until 4th March 2020, 5 PM UTC."

is therefore completely misleading imo since there is nothing "that's not all" but rather "and in case that you still already own Stasis you will get a discount INSTEAD". So you either get a game worth approx 9 Euro or a discount that's worth approx 2 Euro ... which means those who already own Stasis are getting the worse deal here.
