Oh she's definitely in the right castle.

Battle Princess Madelyn is now available DRM-free.

Are you afraid of ghosts and goblins? Well Princess Madelyn sure ain't! After a jerk wizard zaps her beloved dog into a ghostly afterlife, she dons her armor, picks up her lance and sets off to kick evil's butt, no matter the platform it sits on!

The demo I had tried some time ago didn't quite convince me but maybe the full game would feel nicer.

Good luck to the dev anyway, the story behind this one is cute. :)

According the store pages, this seems to be another game with Steam Achievements but no Galaxy Achievements. That's not cool.

Thanks. I checked it out, but you can't download the demo without the steam client, of course. So I'll wait for the publisher to upload a demo here before buying the game.
