If you’re looking for chilling, lovecraftian adventures, you came to the right place – because Alone in the Dark is now out, with a -10% launch discount until March 27th, 2 PM UTC!

Alone in the Dark weaves a chilling tapestry of psychological horror and Southern Gothic charm, reimagining the iconic game that set the benchmark for the genre. We invite you to join us on a journey into madness, where each encounter could be your last. With each step you take closer to unravelling Derceto's mystery, the eyes that watch from the darkness grow hungrier. Every bullet means the difference between survival and an unthinkable end. The next door you unlock could lead to a nightmarish realm offering nothing but slashing claws, grasping tentacles, and frayed sanity. Journey to interbellum Louisiana, where an era of decadence hides a darker tale - of escape from past traumas and an intolerant society, into the waiting grasp of something darker, something that has patiently lurked for impossible eons. This is Alone in the Dark as you've never seen it - a skillfully-woven narrative of Southern Gothic elegance and eldritch madness that pays homage to its legendary origins while taking the next step forward in survival horror storytelling.

You can now also get:
Digital Artbook
Vintage Horror Filter Pack
Soundtrack
Digital Deluxe Edition
Director’s Commentary Mode

On my wishlist sorry got Alpha Protocol in my blood right now.
One of the few horror games I'm interested in picking up, but...

... with that price tag...

... I'll "wishlist" and wait.

There are just too many titles that have been releasing lately (or are releasing soon). I may even wait on the sequel to my favorite game, Dragon's Dogma!
so is the game good? :D
Nice to see another day one release, will try to get it before the end of the week!
Looks good but I'll wait to buy Alone in the Park.
Looks good, but not enough to pay such a sum... 30 bucks would be a more appropriate price. To the wishlist

I'm sure it IS a good game but to be honest: I'd rather play a real remake of the first AitD game. You know, same game but with updated graphics and controls and that'd be it. The first one had such a good setting and atmosphere and now this reboot wants to be something totally different.

All I wanted was something more in the sense of a remaster / remake. And like I said, I'm sure this one isn't bad, it's just
not what I've wished for...

Enjoy & have fun! Hope you like it!
Looks delightfully cheesy. It reminds me of The Sinking City, except it seems competent enough to be worth playing. I'll probably wait for some gameplay footage and make up my mind later. I'm in no rush to get it with this price tag anyway.
I think they should have sold volume sliders seperately as well. I mean honestly: filter mode, commentary mode as payed DLCs? That alone will put the game pretty low on my wishlist.

With a 50% discount to bring it to a realistic price range, I would buy and enjoy it right away. Until then, I will wait.
The game is so well developed and immersive, the monsters even give your wallet a flesh wound before you play it! 0_0

Have you already played it?
Some review stated that the combat is pretty weak, is that true?
