as for classic games the classic games ive played in the past are sam and max, shadow warrior classics, mdk, witchhaven, the first tomb raider games like tomb raider 1 and 2, king of fighters 98, street fighter, ya know games like these that fall into the respective genres also i played Advent Rising its actually one of my favourite classics i really wanted to see a sequal but it didnt happen to the company being bankrupt i think

I love the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series as well as MDK AND Giants: Citizen Kabuto <- this game had me literally made me laugh and in most games that claim to be in the "comedy" genre or has the tag its not easy to make me laugh but it hit its mark but i will definitely check these out thanks alot

it looks......weird..i like it already thanks =p
by classic do you mean just old but good, or "judged over a period of time to be of the highest quality and outstanding of its kind" (i.e. not necessarily that old, but the best of it's genre) or "very typical of its kind." (i.e. a quintessential game of that genre).

SkelettalAngel:
Ok, I'm using a broader definition of classic games here, some of them are from 2k+, but still a bit older now.

Adventure games:
Sam & Max Hit The Road? In that case you might also enjoy Day of the Tentacle, if you haven't played it already. And maybe the Monkey Island games (although personally I don't really like the Special editions available here).

FPS:
I suppose you've also played Doom & Doom 2? If not, those are obligatory! ;) Other than that, I quite like Outlaws, too (spaghetti western FPS).

Action Adventures / TPS:
Psychonauts (it's usually very cheap during sales). Maybe Outcast or Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time? I'm quite fond of Enclave myself, but it's not to everyone's taste (and I recommend playing on Easy difficulty for this one, even if you usually choose higher difficulties).

You didn't list RPGs under your favorite genres, but if you're at least open to action-oriented 3D RPGs, I recommend to try Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines and Arx Fatalis.

If you liked the humor in Giants: Citizen Kabuto, you could also check out Armed & Dangerous by the same developers. I don't think it's widely recognized as a classic though. Giants is probably the more interesting game, but Armed and Dangerous has similar humor.
