OneFiercePuppy: Welp, I was going by the sequel as canon. Looks like Expanded Universe went the other way. Since I give no fucks about Expanded Universe, I'm not surprised I didn't know this.

KOTOR 2 is written with Revan as a woman. That's the canon I was talking about, and why I was wrong. /shrug

where was revan written as a woman ?
the only place int he game where thats alluded to is when rand makes a comment about revans gender at the start
and you can either agree or disagree

but revan in so far i know was always caonically male

the jedi exile is canonically female

Here is another inconsistancy from Battlefront 2.

Retired Clone Trooper Monologe: "What I remember about the Rise of the Empire was...was how quite it was"

Really?

Padme: "So this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause"
avatar
Elmofongo: Woman?
avatar
OneFiercePuppy: Yes. Darth Revan is a she, by canon.
Revan is male. You'll see his face quite often in SWTOR. Although my Revan in my KOTOR is female lol

im pretty sure the clone trooper meant with a single shot fired the emperor rose to power staying out of signt and playing everything and everybody from the shadows

thats how the empire rose very "quiet"

Yeah, Elmo and snowkatt linked me to the wiki pages. KOTOR 2 is written to have Revan default to female. Since I didn't play SWTOR and never paid any attention to the SW:EU stuff, I didn't realize that the sequel was non-canon.

You can understand why that would be a mistake someone could make. XD

In Dark Forces 1 Kyle Katarn actually took the Death Star plans by raiding an Imperial Outpost kicking off A New Hope.

But years later it was revealed in Battlefront 2 that a bunch of Rebels locked up in the prisons in the Death Star, rioted, and actually stole Death Star plans to give to the Rebillion.

Oh and don't get me started on the Clone Wars TV show. (The 2008 one) That show paired Griveous against Anakin and Obi-Wan but forgotten that in Episode 3 it was as if they first met :P

Again Star Wars is hugely inconsistant.

And I thought KOTOR 1 and 2 in essence an EU Work.

they are everything is

the movies are G canon ( highest canon ) there is
kotor has been canonized because lucasarts said so same goes for the thrawn trilogy ( the actual episode 7-9 for me )

disney in so far i know tossed out all of the EU

It probably is, but the difference is you can stumble upon EU stuff without caring about the EU. Wouldn't Timothy Zahn's Heir to the Empire trilogy count as SW:EU? I've read it two or three times, so I know reasonably well the stuff from those books. But that doesn't mean I care about the SW:EU at all. I don't. I just happen to stumble upon some things that happen to be SW:EU.

KOTOR, Heir to the Empire, Truce at Bakura, a couple of the early Rogue Squadron books, both the Dark Forces comics. But I don't care about the EU enough to even have known until half an hour ago that KOTOR 2 wasn't canon XD Obviously I don't try to follow it.

Like you said, it's more inconsistent that the DC universe, and ain't NOBODY can figure that out :P

Elmofongo: And Jedi Outcast takes place directly after Dark Forces 2 while Jedi Academy has a completely non-canon story.
Jedi Academy \ Jaden Korr are very much canon in the Legends timeline. Jaden is the main character in Crosscurrent \ Riptide book series, story of his training under Kyle Katarn is mentioned in those books and later has a cemeo in Fate of the Jedi series.

snowkatt: 4000 years is in the grand scheme of things not much
and kotor 2 is an excelletn game

get kotor 2 x wing tie wing and jedi academy then

Elmofongo: I'm broke now. I told you already I purchased them.
Ok check your PM...... chat

I hope you can write a review of your exploits.
Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast
Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
KOTOR 1
KOTOR 2

I don't really like space combat simulators.
Technically, the jedi knight games aren't in the original trilogies time either. Only the first dark forces is, everything else is after ep. 6.
