Nope.
Not as far as I'm aware. You don't get it for negative either. My recommendation is to just ignore the rep system as it gets pretty badly abused.

Excellent advice. I agree wholeheartedly.

+1, wait, what?

(lol, that last +1 part was a joke, I really do agree wholeheartedly with this sentiment as I've said it myself about a hundred times. In fact, as I've also said before, I wish gog would do away with the rep system. It obviously doesn't work properly. If it did, I would have negative rep and plenty of folks whose reps are going down would instead be going up. It's all just bullshit. Please gog, get rid of it. Or give us the ability to choose as to whether it appears below our name, and make it an opt-IN choice rather than an opt-out one.)

I never got any notification about it, so probably yes it does :P
Something I've been wondering for awhile: is there any way to see the rep assigned to a particular post? I see the "High Rated" and "Low Rated" tags, but on occasion I've wondered what the actual value is.

What I've been wondering for some time is why one gets a point for simply making a post. I mean one could just drop by every day for a year and post "Good morning" or "go fuck yourself" every morning for a year and have 365 rep points.

The whole system is pointless.... lol

By the way, shouldn't you mark the very first response in this thread as the answer since that is the answer? Plus, if anyone does deserve rep points, it's that guy (or girl I guess). One of the most helpful posters here IMO.

I shouldn't. But I sure did +1 rep everyone except one. :P
