Almost a month has passed since I started this topic. Could you, PLEASE, finally do your job: answer the question, provide a solution (just fyi, "we will look into it" or any other similar answer is not a solution)?

OHMYGODJCABOMB you have already gotten an answer on the Russian Forum. This issue is related to some games that have specific editions. For example, some change publishers and versions over the years, that's why separate product IDs are needed. However, during checkout, you will be informed if you already have said game in your library.

Opening a Forum Thread on General because you are unsatisfied with our answer, and being hostile towards GOG Staff, won't escalate the situation. Please write a Ticket in the future, as that is the proper way to inform Support about problems you might encounter. Also keep in mind that Thread bumping is against our Forum Code of Conduct.

Instead of improving the quality of your services, you are threaten your customers with the forum rules. Are you serious?

I don't care what goes on behind the scenes (product IDs, etc.), your technical limitations are none of my business. All I need are check marks on the three products listed in the first post. That's all.

Neither you nor your Russian-speaking colleague are solved this problem and didn't even apologize on behalf of the store for the fact this problem still exists (for at least eight years).

Oh, Jeez... You really need to calm down, man. I understand it's upsetting for you, but you're really just reinforcing and validating everything I said previously. At the end of the day it's just check marks, and that's no reason for disrespectful and rude posts towards the staff here.

Despite what you might think, the GOG staff all work very hard to make this service and store the best it can be. It's not going to be perfect, and as I said previously every store is going to have their own little quirks (just like people, no store is perfect). Please understand that.

Honestly, you really should consider just buying those other versions the next time they're on sale. It's probably worth doing if the missing check marks are causing these issues inside of you to surface. You know what I'm saying?

Anyways, just chill out, man, and try to find within yourself the ability to just let it go. The disrespect and rudeness is never okay, and honestly, you're not going to find many who're sympathetic or willing to help you when you act like that.

Sorry, but I'm not going to pay for the lack of a feature that should have been implemented many years ago. I've already paid for the ultimate edition of this game and will not spend a penny more.

I would agree with TomNuke. You will just get yourself banned continuing down this route. There are a lot of issues, and this is just one, and you can your vote/boycott here:

Well, I did my best in this situation: reported the problem, offered a possible solution (providing keys for unmarked products, since they can't be marked in any other way). There is nothing else I can do.

If such a solution requires creating a ticket, I will do it, no problem.

When the problem will be solved (I mean really solved), you can lock / delete this topic.

It's one thing to voice a complaint, but it's something totally different when you're disrespecting and being rude to the staff here, and breaking the rules of the forum. You've been given an answer multiple times now explaining why it is the way it is, and you refuse to accept that.

You've said it yourself that it's been this way for many years in this thread, so why do you expect it to change immediately at the snap of your fingers? No store is perfect; Not Steam, not EGS, and not GOG. You're not perfect, neither am I, and nor is my friend nightcraw1er.488.

As I just said earlier, if this checkmark thing really that much of an issue for you than you should just buy the other versions so you have the checkmarks. I mean, with all the time you've been ranting in this thread you could have made the money to pay for them many times over. I know you don't want to hear that, but it's pretty much your only option here.

It's not exactly a "problem" nor is it a "missing feature". You're missing a grey checkmark next to something on the store, and that's it.

I'm honestly here engaging with you in the hopes that you'll see just how silly this whole thing is. It's literal checkmarks, and not at all worth the stress, frustration, and anger you're putting your mind and body through. I think I'm done responding to you after this though. I'm not going to give you anymore attention. Hopefully no one responds either, because from what I'd guess you've already been warned, and a thead lock will likely be coming if you keep it up, and if you start making attentional threads than you might be looking at a ban.

Maybe you should really ask yourself if it's worth it before you continue down this road. I hope you realize it isn't and stop.

It is fair unfortunately, I don't like sounding like this but i just lost all hope recently. The thing is this when you try reach out on forum you get ignored, if you try go the support route as GOG wants then you will never or very rarely hear anything back and if you by all means manage to get an answer they will just brush it off.

Try to ask the support politely ? it doesn't work, call them out on forum ? it doesn't work either so yes there is NO hope left at all, it's over and the suits at the top has won.
