Another reminder, Nightdive:

Where is release parity, Nightdive? Come on now. It stopped being funny several years ago, Nightdive. Still waiting for Z.A.R. and MadSpace, NightDIVE! NIGHTDIVE!!!! ARE YOU THERE, NIGHTDIVE????

Will see you in the next release thread as I'm sure nothing will have changed by then ;)

Now that´s what I am talking about!
Instapreorder!

Nightdive, if you´re reading this, you´re one of my favourite studios. Seeing the announcement trailer, I humbly ask for these to be changed in the final version:
- The cutscenes would definitely deserve your touch, just like those in Hexen+Heretic or Quake II Remastered. Could you, please, redo them from scratch, with high quality assets and fluent animations?
- Also, the Sheriff´s star popping up in the upper right screen - can we have it in HD version, please? Otherwise it looks great.

Cool, though probably overpriced at $30.

I just wish Disney would let us have more of their old games.

We should just start calling these "pricehikers" instead. But as long as the original remains available, like they did with Dark Forces I guess there's no harm.

I miss the days when remasters used to not cost 30 bucks and were free for owners of the original versions.
Su5prised iy was Ouylsed snf noy DF2:Jedi Knigth; Jedi Knight needs a remaster a lot more then Outlaws does. it has become really tricky to run on modern systems .

Why would it be?
if they gave you every game they remastered for free they wouldn't be in business.

Bare-bones 1:1 remasters, sure, there's an argument, but when there's new content added/introduced on top of the remaster (new episodes, new enemies, new weapons, new mechanics, etc.) it seems only fair for the developers responsible to be compensated accordingly?

If you already own the classic Outlaws version there will be two FREE options to run the game on modern systems.

First option: You can use DREAMM.
https://dreamm.aarongiles.com/

With DREAMM you can also run the game on Linux or Mac. DREAMM also supports other LucasArts classics like Dark Forces, Shadows of the Empire or Jedi Knight.

Second option: Future versions (2.0, Nov 2025) of The Force Engine will support Outlaws.
https://theforceengine.github.io/

These are two alternatives to KEXification, AI-upscaled visuals and the price upgrade to 27€.
