So, I was reading the news this morning when I stumbled upon this:
http://www.laprovince.be/1199608/article/2015-01-27/ouvrierpolonaisbe-l-affiche-publicitaire-qui-choque-a-charleroi

It's a well-known fact that many EU construction companies employs Eastern-EU labour as they're cheaper than our people (and I don't blame Eastern people for that, I would gladly move if I could earn twice or thrice for the same job) but here it has reached a new level of cynism with this company which translates as "Polish Workers" and their public ads.

I went to their website which has different content depending on your language (choose in the up-right corner):
http://dm-solutions.pl/en
http://dm-solutions.pl/pl
http://poolsevakman.be/nl
http://poolsevakman.be/fr

The English and Polish versions are somehow "normal" (hey, If you're Polish, I guess you can apply for a job).

Things get more cynical on the Belgian version in both dutch and french versions when they claim:
"The cost of labour is often the biggest cost for a company. The difference between what the employee gets at the end in Belgium and what the company pays is not a normal situation anymore! The difference is too big!" (dutch version)

Then there is an extra paragraph only in the French version about their experience working with Polish labour which gets a bit sadly funny when they use almost the same wordings than with mail-bride orders:
"Working with Polish labour was a dream, they were professionnal, motivated, true workers, they even went a step further and asked to do extra hours ; they just wanted to work! Polish were optimistic, happy and grateful for their salary."

I guess we can go burn the European parliament now.... :o)
GOG sells mail-order games? Makes sense.

I suppose Polish women have equal rights so they can work in construction too. Maybe those girls would suit you....

About 90km to the Polish border here.
Never seen a single German worker on the streets doing stuff...

Lower your standards, demand less salary! How dare you, demanding just enough to get by!?

Yeah, but Polish neither. Wages in Germany are too low for them too. The people that do the hard and unrewarding work here are from the even poorer countries like Romania. German tabloids spread the fear that the "Poles" would be coming to take hour jobs - truth is, they can earn the same in their own country (if not more). So they venture farther west, where neoliberals haven't damaged the incomes that much (yet), so they are still "cheap" in comparison to the local people, but earn more than the lowest German workers.

But thanks to the Merkel-thing in a few years we common people will all be equally poor and hating each other because it's always the others that are more lazy and more demanding. WE do good hard work for LESS money!

Essentially this.

Not to mention the lie that salaries have a large impact on the prices of products still (some forms of labour that require a lot of manual work - like haircutting - excluded). Thanks to technology and wage dumping, the salary quote in the "added value" in production is at 20%-40% depending on the branch. Materials and machines are the expensive stuff. Paying your employees well to keep them motivated may actually result in saving money in this regard, because they will take more care of the machines and not waste your resources. But people are blind, greedy and short-sighted, especially when they are called Managers.
