cyberchief.979: I DIDNT DO ANYTHING!!!
avatar
misteryo: Yes, you did.

Now please go away and leave my lovely forum in peace.
I have faith that the overall good will, general (good) madness and generosity of our Community, and GoG's relentless promos and 75% to 90% discount sales can reform any and all piracy enthusiasts that happen to stumble into our midst...

;)
Please help! I've fallen and I can't get up and the cat is making fun of me! It gets worse!...I don't even have a cat...where did this one come from?

I don't want to upset you but if you're confused about people's reactions, try this:

1.) go to a restaurant, eat there and leave without paying
2.) go back to the same restaurant and sit down next to the other people
3.) tell everyone how you didn't pay when you ate there earlier and that you would like some free food now
4.) poop on the floor and smear the poop on the walls if you don't get the free food
not all people from Serbia are like this, please, just ignore this fool.

Aha! Thanks man!
See I only did step 4 a couple of weeks ago and I was wondering why I didn't get any free food.
I know better now.

Uhm, why would anyone judge others based on their country? By that logic i would be a scammer since the biggest one here (unfortunatly) is portuguese.

As for cyberchief, give me a break, you don't want to be in this community, all you want is free games, let me save you the trouble of future threads:

"Guyz how are you?"
"Fine, and y..."
"CAN I HAVE FREE GAME PLZ!"

"Guyz, guyz, i'll behave and i want to participate in this community"
"Oh, ok. What's your favourite game?"
"It's Batman AC, i never played it but it's the best. BTW, CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME BATMAN AC????"

Well, even if you we all know that no one person can represent an entire country, I find it common that if you only know one person from a country that person will be the first you think about when thinking of the country. For instance, the first Canadians I ever met almost landed me in prison, so I was on my guard with every Canadian for a few years. Similar for alcoholic "puke-on-the-public-bus" australians.

So you didn't pirate games, and your idea of an apology is to ask someone to gift you Empire Earth and Heroes of Might and Magic? Okay, I guess we can let that slide. Did someone gift you that Batman game and This War of Mine yet? ...no? Well fuck, something must be wrong with us.

Nikola Tesla was from Serbia. That alone makes Serbia awesome.

Perhaps it's from my personal experience but i never thought of others based on the first person that i've met from it but then again it's probably because i assume that 80% of the internet users are assholes due to the anonymity and not their country.
Oh? So you're that person who ignored my advice post and now you're resorting to begging? Unfortunate. :/

I'm always traveling, and meeting people from many different places; and I tend to remember people by their country of origin. When I meet someone, I think about what I know about their country/background, and those previous experiences naturally pop up in my head. I know that not every Australian is going to end dead drunk every night, but it is the first thing I think about when I think Australia. Unfair, but that's the way my head works. It sometimes takes a conscious effort to dissociate previous experiences to the person in front of me.

It should be mentioned though that if there had been no Nikola Tesla there would be no Tesla and the world would be saved the horror and agony of yet another atrocious hair band. :P

Oh and OT, I did notice the promotion but I'm way to tired to do anything about it now. I'll put something together tomorrow to thank everyone.

I had a friend from Serbia, he told me that back there they went from 40+ºC in Summer to -30 in winter. That alone makes Serbia a place I am not intending to stay at. Except maybe in Autumn? He also told me that, compared to the Serbian police, any other police force he's met was like Ronald McDonalds in uniform. And I tend to not have much luck with police, so I stay away.

Yeah, that's my impression of Serbia in a nutshell. Go generalizations.

Don't take it personally, he ignores everyone. Including people who do gift him stuff.
