Hey guys. i am experiencing problem with installation of the game. At at 1/4 of installation it just stuck and nothing happens no matter how long i wait.

Turn off your anti-virus program temporarily :) It's probably scanning everything in real time :)

Does not help unfortunately. I saw solution by upgrading to Win 8 but i do not want to do that. Can u suggest any other solution?

Well, the only other thing I can suggest is to turn DEP (Data Execution Prevention) off temporarily as I think this might be what's causing the delay.

Please read this carefully and only do this if you know what you are doing etc. etc.

Okay, I have the exact same problem, after about 1/8 progress, installation freezes or slows to next to nothing.
Have tried turning off anti-virus, DRM, all other thinkable programs and searched the web, but no go.

I may have to use the money-back option here, and try the steam variant.

I had the same problem, I just waited a long time, and it continued installing, slowly. It finished installing after 40-50 minutes maybe.

EDIT: I saw now that it moved on for you, enjoy the game! :) But waiting helps, for others that has this problem. At least it did for me.

I have the same problem just as you, but my setup stucks at about 50% and it still stands like that for about 5 hours.

Try installing the program in safe mode. This was how I got it to work.

Is it coincidence that all these User's are New are having problems installing
the game?

Have you downloaded with GOGDownloader? Your browser might have fucked up a chunk of the game.

Has there been a resolution to this?

Just purchased this and the same thing applies - file integrity checks were okay (slow, but completed) but the installation process itself... Bleh!

I have a very similar problem. Will try waiting but i don't know. I had my progress stop at 83% and now it is on 24
