Again, this is still GOG's fault for not making devs sign a contract when they release a game here which says that the game must receive the same updates that Steam version does. GOG just seem to be too desperate to get new games on here, I mean this "Perception" looks like crap anyway.

muttly13: This doesnt even cover the multiplayer pain of not having anyone to play with due to lack of cross platform support. Not a dev problem of course, but another penalty to buying from GOG.

SirPrimalform: Except there are games with crossplay, so if that's missing from a new release it arguably is a dev problem.
True enough, but in the context of this discussion it is usually a feature that is touted and its lack is considered (today anyway) normal. While I am happy to pile on issues, that one seemed unfair in the "Devs who simply ignore GOG" realm. For example, Craft the World gets updates on GOG (albeit always well after Steam, usually months) but there is never anyone online to play multi.
The game was finally removed from GOG. Did anyone ever find out what "issues" these shady devs supposedly had with GOG?
What's stopping them from making a generic patch and putting it out there. This was the custom before Steam came along.

Effort. Seeing as Perception was already given the reputation as rubbish.

Still, some of us wanted to buy it here. Not at full price though. :p
