Hello there everybody.

After quick search I haven't found a thread like this so I figured I will make one.

As of today, newest multiplayer FPS have been launched by Blizzard. Game is entertaining, and definitely has a lot of potential.

So I figured in case some of you have the game and want to share you battle.net ID and fight with, or against, fellow GOG members we could use a place to do the ID swapping.

Heyho,

I was played it in the Open Beta and really liked it. So I bought it. The first game I bough at release in a long time.

My ID is: Nyapon#2131
Mercy is my favourite but I try to learn to play with every hero.

I don't have a mic, so no voice chat. I hope this is not a problem.
Microtransactions...Nope, not gonna touch this, just like i won't touch Battleborn and Division.

As far as I know, the only things you can buy in Overwatch are exclusively cosmetic (hero skins and such), in other words, nothing that could possibly affect gameplay.
Great.
I am strongly considering purchase of the game and hoped such thread will be created.
I' ll get back to you if/when I buy it.

For me it would be bonus, not a problem. :-)

Doesn't matter to me, their sheer existence is a no-no. Much like the terms Blizzard, battle.net. Their whole company is on the blacklist since D3.

it's still a 40€ (60€ for retail) multiplayer only shooter with really limited content - 12 ? very small maps and only a few game modes. As the microtransactions are even randomized not like pay 3€ for skin xyz but rather pay 2€ for crate and get some random stuff this is really bad - affecting gameplay or not. So ya i also count me among the people which are deeply offended by this ripoffscheme while still being somehow interested in the game but ya Blizzard just keeps moving to the dark side more and more - from a developer releasing top notch addons like Frozen Throne and Lord of Destruction - to releasing starcraft 3 for effectively 140€ and releasing a multiplayer only fullprice shooter with micro transactions

the only thing what you can buy are loot boxes, what you can earn with level ups too
loot boxes are dropping only cosmetic items randomly
You can only buy cosmetic stuff and it can also be obtained by simply playing the game.
Not big problem in my books.
Sure, I would always prefer if the full-priced game was shipped with everything but it is not like this one bothers me too much as it doesn't matter.
If they were selling characters and maps and the game was still full-priced then I would not be too pleased and would very likely avoid it but this way I find it aceptable.

don't try CS:GO, you won't like that either :)
AFAIK the mechanics and gameplay are completely separated from the MTs, with them being just skins.

Also, it seems like one of those shooters where the people who aren't good at shooting can take support roles which are easier. Like, it has a low barrier to entry and a high skill ceiling.

I don't get the loot systems being shoved into every shooter though. What are they even there for? To retain casuals?

CS:GO is 15 bucks, not 40. :P
I will buy this as soon as I finish my exams. The beta was enough proof of the bad idea it would be to buy it now xD. This games hooks more than Scorpion!

Sense of progression.

So one has motivation to play other than for the sake of playing but also to gain something new. Something you can show other players in game and admire yourself.
