Better get ready, because Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is out of early access!

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is an open world RPG set in a dark fantasy universe, on a bleak island on the verge of ruin. Getting into the plot, you’ll find out that King Arthur is long dead, and all the myths and legends are falling – and humans living in Avalon are desperately trying to search for new ways of life and new things to believe in, all while being attacked by spreading Red Death and Wyrdness. At the beginning, you’ll find yourself imprisoned in a damp, underground cell, an absolute nobody; but who knows, perhaps you’ll become the one who brings a spark of change and hope in this land. Get ready for tons of quests, loot, choices, and monsters!

You can also get Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon - Supporters Pack and Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon - Supporter Edition.

Now on GOG!
Bought it 2 days ago, that is a great great game, full of surprises and secrets.
Well that took a minute to get an actual thread.
So I guess it was true that it moved out of EA too late on Friday for GOG staff.

Weird that the offline installers report version 0.65 despite supposedly also being 1.0 though.

Yeah. Taking bets on how long until "Deliver at all costs' gets a release thread. It came out on the 22 May.

So uhm.. what' the difference between "a love letter to open-world FPP RPGs" and simply a open-world FPP RPG? Because it seems to me like empty annoying marketing buzz words.

Anyway, while I'm instantly interested with anything Arthurian, all the misery porn "dark fantasy universe, on a bleak island on the verge of ruin" and "we put spikes on everything" aesthetic is kind of a turn-off for me.

Hey, where are the Warhammer Fantasy nerds supposed to go if not here?
Really enjoying the game . Has everything i love in an RPG.
YES!

It's been released, finally!

First thing I looked for is roguelite/like in the tags, and was pleasantly reminded that there are no such tags!

Have to wishlist, though, as my money's tied up right now…

Love makes the difference <3

Awesome game, but could use a better engine (made with Unity)

I'll give it a go once I'm done with the adventures of Henry of Skalice

I'm actually rather fond of Warhammer Fantasy...well, sort of. I'm not a super-fan, I don't really know that much about the setting, haven't read any novels, etc. But I played a lot of WFRP. At least in 2nd edition it was definitely more normal looking than this, except for some far-out Chaos stuff. Lots of humor too.

But maybe this game is actually more reasonable with it's tone than the marketing-speak makes it seem. These days, at least reading blurbs, it seems almost like fantasy games can only be "cozy" or "dark & bleak".

I wish I could trust the good reviews more, but when I see one with something like this "Disclaimer - played just a couple of hours, but GOG aggresively asks for a review." I lose faith in them all. Especially when there are others saying things like "Little time played." or "I'm not here to say if this game is good or bad. I am simply here to say that I am having so much fun. I am currently about 11 hours into the game and I feel like I have barely cracked the surface." or "The prologue is okay" presumably also only written because GOG is pushing people to review games they have not finished. And people complain about non-verified owners reviews. How are they worse than reviews from people who barely played it and are only writing something positive so GOG will florp off?
Wish the GOG version had cloud saves like the Steam version.

Do you remember the fall of Avalon?
Having a absolute blast with this game right now.
Bought it as soon as it was out of early access.

If you like Morrowind you will feel just right at home with this one.
The card says FPP, yet the trailer shows first person and third person.

Can this game be played entirely in first OR third person, or am I forced into a mix of the two?

Also I'm hoping the devs remembered to put an invert Y-axis option in there for the mouse.
