Oh c'mon, could you ******* ****** please stop downrepping newbies for saying "Thank you"? Yes, he just recently registered and yes, the only post he made (so far? remember: registered in May!) was to get a free game. So what? At least he said "Thank you", which should show that he could be a nice person! AND I didn't see lugum say "First forum regular with 1000 rep to say..."

Please, stop the downrepping. Downrepping newbies is exactly what summons "Why do I have negative rep?" threads and makes people grabbing codes without even giving a thanks. And it makes us look stupid. What do you think is a newbie thinking in this situation? I'll tell you: "Weird place... First they offer you a free game, then they hate you for taking it. I better leave."

The general idea is that if you're just here asking for games you're just collecting them and not playing them.

The thing is, if you're only going to say "I want" and not even contribute to the community and give indication that you've at least played the games, you won't get far here.
