It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

It seems that a lot of the .bin files for many many games are only downloading some sort of 8mb file instead of the proper sized download.

I hope that GOG can get this sorted.

I am in USA trying to dl English lang. Games. I have tested over 12 games that have this problem right now.

This is the main thread about it so far:-

Mori_Yuki has put in a support ticket.

Maybe try breathing in to a paper bag to alleviate some of the symptoms of that hyperventilation episode, and wait and see what GoG has to say about what is going on.

Am I missing something, or are you just mocking someone asking about a civil, sensible question about a legit issue?
This may be obvious, but do you have enough browser cache space available for those files?
If all file downloads give only something that is 8 MB that sounds very much like a browser issue to me. A problem on GOG's end would more likely produce files that are of different sizes.

Not all games are effected as was mentioned, so this isn't a problem on our end, no browser issue. SmollestLight has replied and said they'll investigate so it will be taken care of.

The issue that the topic starter is posting about, already is being discussed for nearly three hours in a topic AB2012 linked to (in which the starter of this topic also participated in), so there was no need to start another topic highlighting an already ongoing problem. The starter of the original linked topic has also submitted a support ticket too...

So I fail to see the need for this topic starter to run screaming fire in a theatre, when it has already being discussed, and reported...
The fire brigade is on its way with petrol filled hoses.

Joke aside, this is quite a serious issue and should be fixed quickly.

No one is "screaming", it's a calm and civil post. And it happens to everyone to overlook that a thread on a given topic already exists. Major issues usually spawn multiple threads (see Hitman, and that's not even from oversight). You're being a douche for no reason.

May be you should read the other topic before casting aspersions...
Monkey Island 2 is busted from what I recall, you have to use the galaxy download else it just kinda fails to launch...a bit like me

Is this an older long term issue or just a recent thing, server related?

And do you mean Galaxy install download or Galaxy offline installer download?

I honestly have no clue, I just fancied playing it while my internet was going to be down for a few days so grabbed the offline installer only for it not to work. Downloaded it via Galaxy client and it worked
