VstreetKid: I would really love the ability to check a box and prevent GOG from cluttering my experience with wank game recommendations. I'm never going to be interested in that genre game and having to skip a half dozen / dozens while searching for my next purchase is really a crappy experience.
But you can. You only need to exclude some of those tags when searching. If you don't even want to see them at all that's a different thing and the request of customized filters (not just nsfw stuff) has been made a few times already.

Still would be nice if we could build a proper blacklist instead of having to manually chisel them in like we're in the stone ages.

Like I said, I am all for a customizable blockfilter - not just for nsfw (which I personally don't hate) but for every genre. It would make browsing and finding possible purchases much easier so it would be in the interest of GOG as well.

kajtji: Rance VI is very good Dungeon Crawler, not too complicated in terms of gameplay but story and characters are really good. Whole series is great, but every entry have different gameplay, VI is Dungeon Crawler, Sengoku Rance is grand strategy game with RPG elements and Rance Quest is in some way porn parody of Dragon Quest.

There is also Evening Starter, also dungeon crawler but I haven't played it yet so dunno if it's good. That's it if you want classic FPP Dungeon Crawlers on GOG.

If you want any type of RPG then from non RPG maker games you could try anything from Alicesoft (Rance, Evenicle and Beat series). I also heard that VenusBlood series is really good. But yeah, most adult games on GOG are Visual Novels or are made with RPG Maker.

Kinda wish we'd have games more in the vein of Robert Crumb and 70s weird sex comics instead of all this manga influenced stuff, but you can't get everything in life, I guess.

Yes! I'd love something along those lines, Mr Natural seems like he'd make a great video game charaacter as well, or just any of his one off stories. Wouldn't necessarily have to be a Crumb game either, just something in the style of those 60s and 70s comics (or for that matter european authors like Marc Hernu). I don't know, hentai just doesn't do a lot for me, but I love the adult underground comix scene of that era.

Personally, a Heavy Metal game would be interesting. But the cool stuff of the early writers and artists are ignored. I have no clue as to why the content shifted, but at least you can still get the original magazines in many places.

Imagine if rpg games looked to those magazines. Added some dark humor like National Lampoons. That would be an edgy trigger happy game.

Anyone remember the dog cover, "if you dont buy this magazine...." lol
(ps- dogs are great, it was a joke cover!)

For a story based game I think the time would have been the early 90s as point & click adventures.
It's not easy to bring the Heavy Metal stories the comics to the screen. Two movies and one TV series (Metal Hurlant), a action game in the early 2000s, then no further attempt so far.

I never truly felt we had a decent game for all the content. The world the mags had, along with so much artwork. It just seems like it should have had more. But thanks for sharing. Maybe someone else may find something already available interesting.

As to genre. I would like a Heavy Metal meets Quest for Glory game. Maybe the guy from Blue Bottle Games can pick up the mantle and make something like a Qud/Space adventure/Neo Scavenger mashup after he is done with his space game he has going on.

I for one have nothing against those kind of games, all the old and prissy people be damned.

That being said, I wish there was some more conventional NSFW games out there. I'm not that interested in "hellish orgies" or "cat girl lovers". More like "huge and natural", if you catch my meaning.
