The fun buying on GOG does have no end. Their newest specai: pay now, download later ... at least if you want to DL your OL installer using Galaxy (which replaced the "completely obsolete" GOG Downloader that always worked in opposite of the aforementioned GOG Galaxy). In more simple words:

@GOG: Project Mirror is NOT in Galaxy ... I am wondering if I can ever make at least ONE single purchase without having to contact your non working GOG support? See attachements below as proof.

Also: Game description lists achievements while GOG features don't.

I expect this to be fixed until tomorrow evening or I will refund the game.

I mean, your post is kind of funny but also pretty much exaggerated imo.

I wonder if you are suffering from a case of "Nameless Game Within Galaxy" issue. Under The Witch had the same problem at launch (see attachments). The game had no name and so it was impossible to find.

The workaround is:
GO to the store within Galaxy. Find the game. Instead of Purchase you will see "Go to my library". Click that. Once in your library find the game again. Click it. It should then redirect you back to the game within Galaxy. Bookmark it then.

Ok, so I bought Project MIRROR! "for research" and it is indeed a case of a missing Name within Galaxy.

So many issues with new game releases and pre-orders lately. Use my workaround until they fix it, if you want to use Galaxy. Or just get an offline installer.

It’s been a while since GOG release a couple of Visual Novels/Eroges as of late

Project: Mirror seems to be a HuniePop esque type of game and not really a true Visual Novel.

Whereas only Virtual Maid Streamer Ramie is a true Visual Novel for this release, and Long and Hard… Summer! Is more of a gameplay-oriented dating simulator which is more interesting than those HuniePop rip-offs and RPG maker games that’s been popping up everywhere.

Speaking of which, it seems there’s an influx of RPG Makers Games from Kagura Games being released here and they’re stopped releasing newer visual novel tittles as of late…

Here’s hoping they’ll release a couple of Visual Novels as well to balance it out, starting with bringing some of Shiravune games here like the most highly anticipated Visual Novel Dungeon Crawler Hybrid Dungeon Travelers 2, Suzukuri Dungeon: Karin in the Mountain, Utawarerumono and Meteor World Actor since they’ve finally decided to figure it out selling games with DRM on their games isn’t much of a good idea to begin with. They’ve released some of their games on JAST USA and Mangagamer just recently. And please get them to bring Doukyuusei here in GOG too pretty please!

Also, please bring the Eiyu*Senki series here in GOG from JAST USA and newer titles from NekoNyan as well since they only released their catalogue of games from Yuzusoft. Oh, and don’t forget VenusBlood GAIA and Rance IX The Helmanian Revolution
Medibang? No relation, I presume?

Star Trek babes always had big boobs. I quote Marina Sirtis about the pushup bra: "It add inches where there are none"
and (freely quoted from memory) "Once they saw it, all the other girls wanted to have one as well".

Producer about adding a Borg to St Voyager: "Make it a Borg babe".
From a documentation about Enterprise: "The rates started to drop and so did the necklines".

I bet you only want it for the babes bit bazungas.

But seriously. Only a small percentage of our new releases are adult oriented.
And the games in your list ... talk to the licence holders first.

GOG added a lot of Star Trek games. If some are missing, it's not because they don't want to.
That we got Star Trek games in the first place is a small miracle anyway, the contracts said that Activision (or whoever held the licence at the specific point in time) would be allowed to "produce and sell" games from 19xx to 20xx.
After that period they were not allowed to sell the games anymore, that's why they were lost for so long.
Someone however made sure that the licences were renewed, but apparently it was not possible for all of them.

Dune and Lord of the Ring licences? Same story, even worse. Luckily Middle Earth Enterprises is not as strict as they uesd to be.

All true. I always find it funny that despite being added to the show purely for eye-candy reasons Seven turned out to be one of the most interesting characters. They were incredibly lucky that in addition to being hotter than an overloading phaser Jeri Ryan is also a really good actress.

Enterprise (a series that I still really like) was far more egregious about explioting sex appeal, but still, even there writers did manage to actually give T'Pol a lot of good episodes, especially starting with season 3. And you know, I'm not going to complain about interesting characters also being curvy babes :)

Look, I'm not gonna lie, when I did try playing Star Trek Online, when creating my female cremembers the boob slider was used to it's full capacity :D But I'd like to see that one here regardless of how big quantum torpedoes the space-babes have. Same for Star Trek Infinite. And both are brand new, so an expired license isn't an issue.

I know, I know. I was making a joke... mostly. I do feel that there is a bit a double standard going on. Sure, the licensed games are an unfair comparison, but games do get released here that I really don't think would get a release if it weren't for all the funbags on display.

I thought so :)

And I agree, 7of9 was one of the most interesting chars, still is. And many seem to agree, after all they made her captain of the current Enterprise (the namechange is still a bit strange, after all it was the "Titan" who saved the day).

I find it more sad that we get so much manga/anime stuff while other adult content creators seem to get ignored when they want to release on GOG. I guess anime sells best.

Of course I would love to have Dune 2 and Dune 2000 and Emperor: Battle for Dune on GOG as well, but I can also appreciate themed games. I think oldies, blockbusters can coexist on the same platform as kid friendly games, gore and sex can.
Since GOG was unable to fix the problem with Project: Mirror in time which I described here I just refunded the game like I promised. I am posting this to let GOG know that their laziness has consequences. In this case the game was not really expensive so it's probably not a big loss but this might be different for other games in future and I've decided to refund every single game in future I have problems with which are caused by GOGs inability to do their work correctly. Their support is useless and they proved this again and again and again ... also, the customer does not have to wait for support to fix something when it is broken immediately after purchase so I decided that I won't do this any longer. Get you act togeher GOG ... it is hard enough to recommend your store right now, please don't make me regret buying here at all ....

Yeah, the name change was a bit weird and pointless. I guess there is precedence, like they changed U.S.S. Sao Paulo to Defiant in DS9 after the original was destroyed, but Titan had it's own istory and legacy by this point. But the case with this Titan was weird from the get go, they kept calling it a refit of the original Titan, but it seemed to really be a whole new ship, didn't look anything like the original, and I'm not sure what it was supposed to have retained. I guess they just wanted to have it all - a new ship, but also Riker's old ship, but also a new Enterprise for the spin-off show (which unfortunately doesn't seem likely to happen now).
