tinyE: Legend has it the Pitcairn Islands were settled by Fletcher Christian and his gang. I don't know how much truth there is to that.
Yes, it's pretty much accurate. The mutineers from the HMS Bounty and their mates from Tahiti settled there, and some of their descendents still live there.

I highly recommend the book The Bounty, the best written account of the whole event that I have ever read. Captain Bligh it turns out was a damn incredible sailor, and not the two-dimensional tyrant we have been taught. Nor was Mr. Christian the rugged and long-suffering saint he has been painted as.

Fletcher and Bligh were one dimensional in the original movie. The remake with Gibson and Hopkins evened the playing field a little, though probably not enough to be even remotely accurate.

From what I read, the remake did take several liberties with the historical events. But, I really liked the soundtrack by Vangelis.

Yes, the remake is more fair than the original (though Charles Laughton is very memorable in his portrayal of Bligh, regardless of accuracy). I suspect a film faithful to the truth would be too nuanced for most viewers, as well as challenging conventional wisdom since Bligh emerges as the more admirable personage by the end.
So... The most amazing game got finally released or what?
Is it a holiday in Poland?

I already have nothing. I'm waiting for the DLC.
The EA promo isn't ending for 14 hours and 45 minutes (at time of this post). My guess is there won't be a new promo before the EA sale ends.

Even more nothing? Heard good things about it!

No. Or at least not any that I know about ;) So it's still - no!
Well, if it is a St Patrick's Day promo, it would kinda make sense for it to actually start on St Patrick's Day...

BillyMaysFan59: Actually not that sure that another big sale is likely...
I wouldn't be so sure about that:

Also, we had to get back from watching the site, the games and updating promos to our “normal” work schedules - to organise some other stuff that we’re planning. It’ll be really exciting and you’ll want to get some sleep in before it happens ;)

Furthermore, that's exactly what we got last year:

Promos overlap all of the time, don't they?

Did we have a big promo before the Luck of the Irish promo last year? I know it wasn't the Spring Insomnia promo, because that happened around May last year...

I figured that the reference to "other stuff that we're planning" was some new game releases and not another promo.

That said, I am inclined to believe that another St Patty's Day promo is coming tomorrow.
Has anyone heard from a Blue today? Is there anyone currently in Poland that can confirm it's still there?
