Hi,

Sorry if this question doesn't fit this forum. Please tell me or move this post directly to the right forum.

I submitted my questions to the support for the fourth time already in the past 3 weeks and received no reply except those automated ones. Is there anywhere I can make sure my questions have been read or being processed by gog.com?

Many thanks,

Kafka

[ Edit : what I wrote is wrong, the post just below by 0Grapher is right. I should have written something along the lines 'if all your questions were NOT asked' which would make a convoluted explanation]

Then, in my experience, if you didn't have any answer, that means your message hasn't been read yet.

I don't know what you mean by submitting questions. If you send multiple "tickets" then you always move your question to the end of the queue.

Edit: ninja'd
Edit 2: Apparently, what I said is false. Only your new ticket will move to the bottom of the queue whilst your old ticket will stay unaffected.

What was the nature of the question? If it's generic if will have a lower priority, however if it's a failed order or transaction issue, it will have a high priority.

At the very least when you submit your ticket you should get an email that it was sent, if you don't have that it's possible you accidentally didn't send one... And if you sent it in the wrong topic/bucket, it might have gotten redirected or lost (less likely but not impossible)

Anyways, if it's sorta important, you might get ahold of Judas, or Ciris, they might get it kickstarted or answer your question (assuming it isn't something sensitive).

Yes, I did. In that email I was asked to check a DXDiag file. However, I use a Mac and had no idea what it was all about. After replying directly to that email and asking what I shall do, there is no more response. Since then, I started to submit a new request ticket about every week. Sorry if my approach or my selected category of question was not proper enough to get the right response, but I just got a new reply now by email, answering my question.

Thank you all.

Hi,
Would you please check again the status of my problem? I replied to your request 3 days ago and then no more news from you.
Thank you.

From what I heard from our support you are not eligible for a refund.

Potzato: Firstly, if all your questions where asked under the one single ticket, every new question bumped everything back to the bottom of their queue.

That's some system.

If you inquire under the same ticket - moves to the bottom of the queue.

If you inquire under a different ticket - moves to the bottom of the queue.

Best policy seems to be - don't even breath another word about your ticket to anyone anywhere - then maybe it will get handled. If not - you won't ever know, because to even think about it means you know it got moved to the bottom.

Now you have done it. dont point out the ridiculousness of the system, people get angry. You dont want to see them when they're angry...

I think Potzatos answer isn't correct. If you reply to the same ticket (by using the mail-reply-function) you won't be pushed to the bottom of the queue again.

Correct. The problem is, a lot of people don't reply to the email, they use the contact form repeatedly, which generates a new ticket each time and pushes their issue down the queue.

Now that I re-read my post, it indeed doesn't make any sense : what I describe would mean that the support can't read your response in time. There is a negation missing in my post somewhere, I will fix that.
Thanks for pointing that out.
