Anyone ever sit there and read the FBI warning at the beginning of a movie?

I actually did try to once. It was rough. I don't get what the point of trying to get people to read it is.

Well, I know the point, but why make us pretend we HAVE read it?

I've long found it baffling that the Pause feature is disabled during the FBI warning, on most disks I've tried. Finally found one last week where I could actually pause it and read the whole thing.

IMO, the EULA is meaningless for some of GOG's games, as you've already purchased the game before installing and you've already DLed it, so you can't get a refund if you don't agree with it. I know some of the games have a link to EULA on the game page, but I don't think all of them do.

Not saying EULAs are good, but you either accept it or you don't. And if you do, then you are responsible for it. =)

I mean, you could technically make corrections and mail them in and have the company's legal department approve it, but yea ... the odds of that happening are slim.

I always wonder: if people are supposed to READ and UNDERSTAND the EULA's, why don't companies make them READABLE and UNDERSTANDABLE???
