ThePunishedSnake: Gameplay video.
Still 9 days, still half of the amount required.
phaolo: Quite impossible then..
I liked the video though, even if graphics+gameplay don't seem very advanced.
P:S: I've never played Clock Tower
You should, Clock Tower is amazing, it's also bloody short, it can be completed in one hour or so.
TERRI29: Hifumi Kono, the main developer of the project calls it Nude Maker because how people wear clothes, it may cover their true personality. So, his company tries to make things from the ground up and not worry about flash things being added. He wants great games that stand out on their own. Although, at first he joked the company was called Nudemaker because he required that his employees don't wear clothes. XD
He and his team have tried to get this game backed for five years, and finally got backing for the digital copies for mobile devices, ISO, Android, Vita, and others. He could not find backers for the PC edition.
You will be able to escape the ship, as seen in the artwork that was recently put on the page, confirming that Chris Darrilll, a man working on another game that was only slightly inspired by Clock Tower, is working on the project. Your character will be able to escape and find a way to shore on a boat. The Sissorwalker will be on the island too. But, at least the environment will change.
Okay, you can see more from the updates at the Project Scissors and plans from the team and how hard they would work to make the game fluid, good graphics, interesting game play. So please help promote or back the game just to try to get the game funded for PC.
I don't think the Project Scissors team will try another PC kickstarter after this.
Thanks for reading.
Oh, if you do play NightCry, I wouldn't bother hiding in boxes. In Clock Tower (2 in Japan) you had a 50-50 chance that Scissorman in the game would stab you through the box. I wouldn't be surprised if that happened in Night Cry.
I think the Kickstarter was poorly managed. I mean, they added stretch goals for a consolle version YESTERDAY, why they didn't put them from the beginning?
The game, even if a bit clunky, seems really worth to me. I'm pretty sure they can find a publisher easily for PC/Consolle version if this will reveal good enough on Vita.
