More crimes! Gregg still rulz ok.

The soulful narrative-driven adventure Night in the Woods just became even more delightful and content-heavy. If you haven't visited Possum Springs yet, first of all it's never too late and second of all, what's wrong with you?

Weird Autumn Edition comes as a free update to all owners and it brings a whole bunch of cool, creepy and downright criminal additions that are worth experiencing even you already beat the game once. Besides, weren't you always curious to see what adventures the rest of the gang could get you into? Of course you were.

So here's what's new:
- New nighttime activities, lovingly known as "crimes"
- The Lost Constellation and Longest Night minisodes now accessible through the Extras on the main menu
- More weird happenings to keep you on your toes.

The stars are aligned. The cosmos beckons. The time is right to go spend another Night in the Woods.

Here I was hoping for the Pansexual Cat Caligula edition.
I was looking up Night in the Woods to see if it was on sale, and spotted Night of the Rabbit instead. So in that goes.
Here I am waiting for this game to finally get a discount. I was hoping this could be the case when the new version arrives at GOG ... hey, it's even winter sale but no ... still the same price. Anyway, nice to see it arriving here on GOG :)

Now THAT I would buy!
Yay, my favourite game of 2017 (and one of my favourite games ever) returns with more crimes. Time to meet my friends again in Possum Springs.

Gregg rulz ok!!!
AAAAAHHHHH!!! *wild arm flailing*

Ahem. Thanks to the devs and GOG for the free update! I think I won't play it again right away, but it's a great game and free extra content is always appreciated.

For what it's worth, I think the price is reasonable, as it's a well polished and unique game. I actually prefer this approach of low to medium base prices and rare discounts ( Night in the Woods, Stardew Valley, Shovel Knight etc. ), instead of the bloated base prices most AAA publishers use, only to heavily discount their games every other month.

You might get your wish yet... The Winter Sale is long and full of discounts ;)
Storywise, GOTY2017.
Gameplaywise, it's A Hat In Time.

That sounds very promising to me ... and you are right - maybe my wish will still be granted during the sale. I heard many good things about this game (and PaterAlf basically held a gun to my head because I have to play this game ;)) so I really keeping my fingers crossed here :)
How about Full Throttle on sale? ^^;

For what it's worth, NITW is easily my GOTY. If you enjoy good writing and quirky but shockingly relatable characters, you can hardly do better than this.

And now I am even more excited...
It really is quite a good game. I think you'll really enjoy it, and while I'm happy to see hint that maybe it'll go on sale this week, it's really well worth the regular asking price.

What if you don't really like point n click/adventure games? :p
