Make sure to download the offline installers, put them on an external storage device, and then you never have to worry about having to remember account credentials ever again, even after your ex-wife who owned the account leaves you without her credentials... But then again, probably the least of your worries at that point.
That's the magic of GOG! You could be cynical and say this is the way it has always been before Steam, but now you don't even have to worry about keeping your disc scratch free or saving that manual with the serial code on the back.
