So how do I explain the next credit card billing to my wife? Any advice? Any? Please?
I knew it, somehow i had this feeling that this next publisher, that was announced 3-4 days ago will be LucasArts.
And now it came true.

This is really great news, because LucasArts had some of the titles that were missing in my Good old Games list.

20 years ago i owned the retail version of X-Wing + all addons but i sold it to buy other games. Now i can buy
it again.

I hope GOG is also releasing the following titles:

Battle of Britain - Their finest hour (BOB)
Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe (SWOTL)
Day of the Tentacle (DOTT)
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (indy3 VGA Version)

and many more.

BEST NEWS EVER! :D :D :D
Thank you so much!

Besides all the standard "Lucas" games that we were all looking forward to seeing, it would be incredible if a version of Outlaws that worked on modern OSes was brought forth. I still have physical copies for most of these, but will pick these digital releases up when I can.
Tears everywhere. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Put X-Wing Alliance up.
I never used steam (cept to play HL2). Gog is better than steam! I love GOG, they make old dreams come true.

saluk: I guess I have to like Disney again. Thanks! Now the reason I thought GoG would exist back when I learned it existed now finally exists.

DCT: Right first thank you, seriously I am estatic right now but if Grim Fandago, Outlaws, Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle, Afterlife, Loom and Zak Mckraken are not among the 30+ planned releases from Lucas Arts catalog things will get nasty pretty quick. Especially if you guys turned down Maniac Mansion and Zak...

saluk: Grim Fandango has a remaster coming out sometime next year, so not that crucial to get the old version.
So what? maybe some of us would like to have the option to play the original game? Newer isn't always better even when it comes to remastered version look at Baldur's gate 1 and 2 enhanced and the issues those have or Slient hill HD collection or Metal Gear Solid the Twin Snakes(it's damn good but it made some unnecessary changes that bother purists) . So yeah it is crucial to have the orginal, plus the remastered version is being done by Double Fine and for all we know they could decide to make it Steam Exclusive.
Thank you GOG.
Not bad, not bad at all.
Will X-Wing and Tie Fighter work well under WINE? Pissed that there's no mac version, but I'll be REALLY pissed if I can't run them at all.
