Ghost of Tsushima, Doom Eternal, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, RE3 / FF7 Remakes, Dying Light 2, Elden Ring and this one game called Cyberpunk 2077. A lot of games to look forward to this year.

1. Baldur's Gate 3 (!!)
2. Cyberpunk 2077
3. Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2

I don't know if I'll buy/play Cyberpunk and Bloodlines 2 this year. I want a new graphics card for Cyberpunk and I still have to play/continue Bloodlines 1 first.

I haven't even played The Witcher 3. Ideally, I'd like to play it on very high graphics settings. And in the meantime I have enough backlog while I wait for a better moment to upgrade my GPU (GTX970).

There is a serious (heh) lack of Serious Sam 4 in this thread, and this makes me very sad! I'm so hyped for some more Sam!

Also looking forward to some indies:

Creaks
Ultra Strangeness
When The Past Was Around
Bloom: Memories
Rock of Ages 3
Torchlight III

So glad Torchlight III is just going to be a regular Torchlight game, best news so far this year for me! Also I hope at least a few of these make it onto GOG, I know Creaks already has a page (iirc) which is good since that's one of the ones I'm most excited about!

I love the series, but I want Sam to finally confront/defeat Mental...this is taking too bloody long. :D

(I dunno if he did yet or not.....I only got so far as part way through SS2)
Realms Beyond
My most anticipated classic turn-based fantasy RPG for upcoming year.

Is that a hint that these are coming here to GOG? (We can dream) :)
Watch what new Indie strategy games are coming to PC and consoles in 2020. These are just the first 9 games that I will cover in a series of videos dedicated to new Indie strategy games that will be released in 2020. More videos will follow and all these videos will cover 4X turn based, grand, RTS, simulation, city-building and squad tactics Indie strategy games. All of them all new IPs from independent studios often consisting of a single lone developer. This is my way of supporting them and showing these games to their audience and future players.

I can guarantee that one of the games listed by me is being released on gog.com. You will just have to guess which one, Samurai ;)

I personally think cyberpunk is going to be well blown out of proportion with how good it is; but any further comment on the setting is likely to get flagged somehow for political commentary; so I'll end with that.
Apart from CARRION
I'm looking forward to all the Linux releases and maybe Proton coming out of beta.

He confronted the "Mental Institution" (a literal building on wheels) in SS2 but not Mental himself.

But you can ignore anything that happened is SS2 anyway. It has luckily been proclaimed non-canon and they are going to re-make it later with a proper story and a vibe similar to other games in the series. Looking forward to that a lot.

Eh, I liked the quirky nature of that game....a shame it's being retconned.

Still, the fact he hasn't defeated mental so far make me laugh a bit....how long do they think to prolong it for? Even Halo finished off their original plot after a few games and moved on to new threats.

As long as it makes them money I'd say. True, they could stop making only prequels and at least progress the story forward with one game, but as long as Serious Sam is alive, I know that I will always have at least one FPS game to look forward to, which is great.

The only thing I liked about SS2 was that we got to visit the home planet of the Kleers and see firsthand just how depraved Mental is (napalming an entire planet and animating the skeletons of its former inhabitants for use in his army). But everything else? BLEH.
