Congrats! Amazon's bookstore is actually a pretty decent choice for getting your books out there. My local librarian self published a Young Adult trilogy through Amazon and has since become an Amazon top seller alongside John Green. Hope you have at least half that luck!

Tomorrow, by the way, I will start writing a new, old novel. By the way, this new project is much more interesting compared to the one I already published. Is "old" just because sometime ago I write many pages about, but then I abandoned it to do other things, and because since the plot is very very strange, is difficult develop a good narrative based on it.

I'll be honest here and tell you that I was really not expecting much upon clicking your link. E-pub + first published work is - at least in many cases I know of - a good indicator for sub-par quality.

That said, I was pleasantly surprised upon reading the teaser on the Amazon page and being genuinely intrigued by it. I have put this on my have-to-check-this-out-eventually list and wish you all the best for your future writing endeavors!

If you have the option, I'd love to see this on Smashwords. They'll get you into quite a few more book stores, plus, they offer DRM free publishing as the default.

For a new author, it's probably better to worry if too few people are pirating the book as books that die do so out of lack of interest and exposure.

I will consider it, for now I have an exclusive with Amazon for three months, and I want to check how the book goes here in Italy :)

Also, if someone wants pirate it, well, I'm sad, but I won't put DRM on this because they only damage users, if someone wants pirate it, he can easily avoid DRM protection, so is basically useless. And...if you buy a book or a game, even in digital form, is yours. With DRM isn't.

Right, I'm really suggesting that piracy is a good thing, just that materials that aren't pirated are much more likely to go unnoticed.

Anyways, next time you write a book, you really shouldn't fall for Amazon's exclusivity deal, it's generally only a good deal for Amazon. I think Smashwords had an article on that a while back, or maybe it was in their free book on publishing. Anyways, it turns out that it's not a very good deal for most authors, even newer ones.

Can you tell me what the books is about, please? I read a translated synopsis and I'm not really sure about it.
